Two random thoughts;
Sherman had A&M loaded with talent, and man am I glad Landry Jones stayed in school!

lets see landry jones would have been gaurented to be selected in the late first mid second round last year. This year he will be lucky if he is drafted in third... lol... unless you were joking

they better work on "johnny football's" mechanics before he's draft eligible.

every highlight i saw he threw it off his back foot. actually he was almost jumping backwards as he threw it.

to Jsm08, my thought was he might get killed in the NFL. He's kinda like Tannehill but much more risky. But if he doesn't he'll do extremely well.

Question: Does he come out this year? Is there an NFL rule against it?

Like Matt Barkley proved, staying too long CAN TURN OUT TO BE a disaster of a decision.

Second subject, Matt Barkley and Landry Jones. Are they worth it for us to draft as a backup? We could probably get either in the 4th round.

**********************************************************

I realize this year's QB crop is not that good (ala 2012), but too many teams are in desperate need of a QB, thus neither will (probably) be there in the 4th.

The way I see it, the "big name" QBs will be gone within the first 3 rounds. Good backups may be had in the 4th on.

Wasn't Johnny Football a sophomore this past season?

I think he's a red shirt freshman, not sure he can come out until next year.
