Getting shut out...

by this piece of shit defense is a total embarrassment!

In one totally f%$ked-up game Philbin & Sherman have eroded about 95% of the confidence I had in them!

If this team gets off to a bad start next year this regime will get nuked by week 5!

I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo disappointed in you Mr. Philbin. Your team didn't even compete today against a very weak D! I mean ZERO focking points???

Perhaps Mr. Philbin's loyalty to his home base is way too obvious??? I can only wonder after such an inept pathetic effort. So let me tell you in no uncertain words -- I don't like it as a fan when I'm obviously being screwed with.

So unless the intent is to totally destroy this franchise (with a bunch of shithead yankees btw including HC and the owner) then find a way to at least make a cameo appearance in season defining games.

BNF. And totally disgusted!

Oh yea. Thanks for yet ANOTHER SHIT FOCKING SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a nice day. Assholes.

I'm with you!! But seriously I thought we would end 6-10 so we did better than I thought. We need a lot of things. Not sure how long it will take. We definetly are a new "detroit or browns"

Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright;
The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light,
And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout;
But there is no joy in Miami the mighty Dolphins have struck out.

Who the hell was playing today? What it some guys dressed up in uniforms? The O-line was sluggish. John Jerry looks like one slow fat guy. Garner was out played, out muscled, and out foxed on many plays. Our new LT didn't do well either. On D? Where was the big front twosome of Soliai and Starks? Were they in the game or just watching from scrimmage?

I could tell from the first 2 minutes this was going to be a long day--a blow out was just getting momentum.

OK the season is over. We need to move on ...again.

Happy New Years guys. Have a happy, healthy and safe New Year.

Colonel

It wasn't just failing to score points. It was the ease at which Wes Welker made the whole Dolphin defense his beeyotch. It was the lack of any pressure up the middle on Brady. It was the fact that THE FEW TIMES Tanny was able to throw a decent pass, the receivers (that's a laugh of a name for them) dropped the ball.

We are just mediocre, we are not an elite team. This team needs many many needs, year after year its the same old. But we are goinjg in the right direction. Give it 3 years

Yes, Give it 3 years with Tanny at the helm....no need for the "new QB" silliness yet.

Well, Binns and Bush blew sure TDs. And the pass protection cost Tannehill a couple of other shots at TD passes (Bush and Fasano). It wasn't like we weren't in position to score.

Agreed its dumb to be thinking about drafting a qb in the first round unless you get the number one pick overall then i would t mind because you would draft the very best but we are drafting either a TEnd or a receiver in the first round..

Bet on that please!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep! If Binns catches that and Bush doesn't fumble it's much closer. Take away Tanny's INT and we're right in it!

We always seem to never make the plays we should make as other teams make it look effortless. I am never confident in our receiver core, I trust our defense more currently.

One of the most uninspired games of football I have seen the Dolphins play in 40 years of watching.

Offense - Dropped passes, fumbles at the WORST possible time. Receivers get behind the defense, overthrown, O-line looked either lost or just didn't care...ugh.

Defense - Same problem I've seen all year soft-ass zone with no pressure. WTF??? Last time we were all over Brady. I don't get it.

One other thing stuck out to me. All those who say we STILL have no passing game because we have no big all-world receiver. Exactly WHO fits that category on the Pats who have almost 5000 yards passing? Old-man Branch? Or maybe the slow, small white guys Welker and Woodhead who were the leading receivers? I know it's sacrilegious but could it be our QB play is STILL just not good enough?

Our defense which produced a franchise low 16 turnovers? They don't make plays, either.

The Pats are an exception here because of their personnel. They have two elite TEs that scare defenses to death. Hernandez is a WR in a TE body, and Gronkowski is an unstoppable physical presence. What this allows them to do is go from a power running game to an all out passing attack without changing their personnel. They send out their 2 TEs, 2 WRs, and 1 RB on every play. The defense goes big to stop the run, they split the TE's out wide and attack with the all out passing attack. The defense brings in extra DBs, and they use the TEs on the line to block for a power running game. It make it very difficult for defenses to match up.

And in Welker, Hernandez, and Gronkowski, they have three players who cannot be covered one on one. We don't have any players we can say that about. It makes a huge difference.

I just want to send a big F U to Mr Ireland who is solely responsible for the lackluster talent this team possesses.

I want to believe this team has accumulated some nice talent but then...

And I want to pretend punk ass Ireland can get the job done but then...

I hope Philbin is a legit NFL HC but...

I'm at the end of the line with this franchise in so many ways.

And if this thing blows up AGAIN -- and we fall on our faces and go searching for yet another HC and GM and...

In that case I'm absolutely done as a "fan."

Heck, I'm about 75% done at this point anyway so what's another 25%?
