I thought Last years draft went well. As well as It could. the Martin Pick and RB Miller were great picks. If they don't perform up to what we had hoped, thats not Irelends fault. those were great picks at positions of need at that time.

Going for Punt Returners with the #9 overall when we need a QB, and several other important postions , Thats why this guy is out of a Job as a HC and now a OC.

I dig Philbin. He wants to win. he needs to get on players like Freeny. Those kinds of mental errors will Kill a team. That kind of shit is unacceptable on Jimmy Johnson and Shula teams. You sat Reggie Bush for a fumble. Make that guy understand his error.

treasure ive never seen a head coach take more chances than jimmy johnson. Jimmy Johnson lived on the edge. It was incredible.

He was just good at taking chances all his teams were real talented.

Jimmy could find defensive talent that's for sure. And NOT use high picks to do it. Not so sure he was that good offensively though. In Dallas he inherited an All world receiver in Irving, Got the top pick in the draft to get his QB and lets face it, plain old got lucky with Emmit Smith which made everything else work. One has to wonder how he would have fared in Dallas had Emit Smith turned out to be a Karim Abdul-Jabbar.

Yes! Good Call Sam! I LOVED Jimmy's style of coaching. I hate it when we go down without trying. I see a little bit of Jimmy in Philbin in that respect. And man he looks pumped on the sidelines. Far cry from his mellow self on Hard Knocks.

Jimmy did NOT get Lucky with Emmit , irving, and Aikmen. THEY got lucky he coached them and gave them what they needed to succeed.

cam failed forward fast. he was the worst HC and it was evident early on. I like what I see from Philbin

You guys have to realize this team is not appealing to ANY worth a sh*t coach. This team will have recycled coaches for the next decade until some knucklehead GM (not doucheboy Ireland) builds an appealing team that can win consistently.

Did you see what the Pats did to the Texans last night? 42 points from an excellent defense on the Texas. In the Last four games the Pats played they have a combined score of about 170 points! Only 23 against us. We have some very good players. But no real Playmakers except for maybe Wake and Jones on defense. And Tanny is VERY appealing to any Coach. He is going to be great. We need to get another Lineman or Two. A Power back and a reciever that can stretch the field.

We see eye to eye treasure.....WE ARE HEEEEERE......I was just about to make a thread about that.......

We are not that far from been a great team...NE only scored in the 20s against us....and they been scoring in the high 30s average against everybody...

We are not that far away we just need a few pieces to get to the next level.

I was thinking the same thing the other night. I am pretty sure when Miami travels to their house it might be a different story. We shall see
