I give them a D for their play today. A muff by Thigpen and it results in 7 points for SF. Than we get a favorable bounce inside the 5 yard line and Freeny is not smart enough to down the ball, bounces around like he scored a touch down and enters the end zone (barely) but enough to give SF better field position out at the 20. We can't do these things and be successful. Nobody's asking for perfection--muffs happen. But not recovering it--that's fatal. Freeny--he shouldn't get paid today.  Re: Phins vs San franny
