You dare underestimate Tanny's desire to win after that drive? That kid just needs some better players around him. Philbin showed some balls going for it on 4th and 1 as well. I like what I see. The Glass is half full. We have showed up and made a game against this team. And we are still in it.
Go ahead and look for the negatives only DolfQueen. You are not and never will be considered a dolphins fan here.

And one who neither knows the rules or watches the game except in hopes that RT screws up.

He missed two wide open TD passes.
We got a field goal instead of a touchdown. Looks like the same desire to win that Tony Sparano had.
If the defense stops the Patriots and Tannehill then leads the team to victory, I'll agree that Tannehill has the "desire" you talk about. For now, Tannehill looks average.

This is what happens when the QB can't put the ball in the endzone. Tannehill gets yardage, but can't win games.
As for effort and desire - Ray Lucas also played with effort and desire. But it didn't make him a good QB.

I'm talking about one play. We sent 7 not 11.
I don't know what you're talking about, but you sure are funny.
1. Tannehill needs more weapons to really show what he has.
2. New England is fairly underwhelming. With as much help from the refs that they got, it's remarkable that the game was still in doubt in the 4th quarter.
3. Cam Wake needs someone else on the opposite side of the field to take the pressure off of him
4. I might owe Dan Carpenter an apology. Good game for him.
5. Dolfanking takes a lot of the fun out of this message board with his incessant Tannehill bashing.

Wow you had to go back 11 yrs to find that one. Did Lucas ever throw a 400 yd game? Did he ever break any rookie records?
Your pathetic. You can't even make a sad point stick.

Yeah.
hard to be pissed at them.
They had a good game let the past run the ball down their throat and chew up 7 minutes when a stop gives the offense a chance to tie it up..
Tannehill was off on the deep ball today and I think Belechick confused him schematically a few times at the very least. If he had a better game we win.
O-line wasn't great but was ok, especially without Long and with Martin moving to LT.
That botched punt was a killer. With no margin for error against this team its tough to start off down 7-0.

Excellent Point. Look we just made a Game against one of the best teams in the NFL. They can't keep playing at that level. We have 6 picks in the first 90 of next years draft. we are getting better every week.
Ryan showed incredible sprit and threw some nice passes. When he gets a few more play makers around him this will be an exciting offense.

Excellent Point. he is the Master at that. Ryan is a rookie and it showed a bit. Thats why these games are so important for him. He will learn from this.
