Dan Tannehill's first 4th quarter comeback. First of many many more.

The only way a team wins is through a team effort. When too many player's miss assignments, run poor routes, miss tackles, don't pull their weight on special teams its a formula for losing. The opposite gets you wins.
Occasionally, one player will really screw the pooch and cause a game to be broken in half, but I think that's pretty rare.
The many missteps the Steelers had yesterday against the Browns was the formula for losing. The team, collectively, was out of step. To win you must execute.
The last minute win doesn't mean the team is back on track. What is means is that the team was in step. Will they be consistent and play well against NE? I sure hope so.
Let's not get CARRIED AWAY. I hate to mimic Llyod Bentsen telling Dan Quayle that he was no Jack Kennedy but at this stage of his career Ryan Tannehill is no Dan Marino EVEN ON DAN MARINO'S 10TH GAME.
Dan Marino took over when David Woodley was benched at about the 3rd game of the season against the Los Angeles Raiders at the LA Coliseum, I was there.
Dan began to TERRORIZE the entire NFL IMMEDIATELY with a passing game the likes of which the NFL had NEVER SEEN BEFORE.
In mid-season, one TV sports commentator said something that would never be heard today and that was something like "Every team in the NFL should declare next season the year of the hit on Dan Marino otherwise this kid will be around to destroy it all."
Ryan Tannehill had a decent day yesterday, the rest of the team, with a few exceptions did NOT PUT HIM IN AN IMPOSSIBLE POSITION, and he showed that given half a chance, he can win a close game.
But it is just STUPID to say that even yesterday, he looked like Dan Marino did EVEN IN DAN MARINO'S FIRST YEAR.
In Dan Marino's first year, we went 12-4.
One of those 4 losses was a loss prior to Marino taking over from Woodley.
Another was an overtime loss.
We've got something good going in Ryan Tannehill but blowing him out of proportion on the plus side is just as silly as trying to tear him down on the negative side.
I'd say more like BOB Tannehill. He was cool and composed at the end of yesterdays game, took what was given and got it done when he needed to just like the original 'Joe cool' Bob Griese.
