Thursday is coming up fast. Will the Dolphins make a game of it? Are they still moping, crying in their beers, or are they ready to join the fray and kick some Bison? Did the team learn anything from Sunday's debacle. Who is playing? Who is sitting? Who's not playing because of injuries? Let's hope the Dolphins get back on track and win.

At this point, I didn't see anything from this team last Sunday that gives me a ray of hope. The kneel down before the half and getting Booed off the field by the hometown crowd says it all. Where were the halftime adjustments? I believe Philbin is losing control of the team and doesn't have the intensity to get them focused again. Cam Cameron part deux.

I think the quick turn around could benefit the team.

The bad taste will still be in their mouths, and I think they will regain the focus and intensity that they showed vs the Jets to get it out.

I could also see Tannehill on a short leash. A couple bad picks, and he might be watching Matt Moore from the sidelines.
It could be construed as Philbins message sending thing, or just part of Tanny's learning experience, part of his development.

Either way, I think we'll see a better team than the one that played Sunday.

Oh Hell Yes. A Short week on the road couldn't happen at a better time. They should be embarassed and Pissed off.

I wouldn't consider beating the Bills, who have the worst defense in football, as a comeback.

We could slaughter them and it won't mean much. 5-5 ????

We face Sea, NE & SF in the next 3 weeks following the Bills game. 5-8?

Then Jags, Bills, Pats....If we are lucky we finish 7-9.

Even last year while everyone said we turned things around. We won 3 straight after going 0-7.....The teams we beat were not good.

KC, Was & Buf....all bad teams.

We then lost to a good team....Dallas
Won against a bad team....Oakland
lost to a good team...Philly
Won against a bad team...Buffalo
lost to a good team....NE
Won against NYJ....who finished 8-8

See a pattern there?

This year we are now losing to bad & mediocre teams.

To have any resemblance of a turn-around, we need to beat a few good teams like NE and SF.

A win is a win, and it will help with the confidence of this team. I think the phins win...but it will be close.

I think we win Thursday but like Eesti says, until we can beat some good teams, we'll continue to hover around .500

A couple weeks ago when we our record stood at 4-3 and could have easily been 5-1, I felt really good about the possibility of turning this thing around. At that time, looking at our schedule, I thought we'd beat Indy, Tennessee, and Buffalo (games we should won) and we'd go to 7-3 with a showdown to finally beat a good team!

Fast forward to today...our record is 4-5 and I've lost that excitement. Poor coaching and poor play all around has taken the wind out of my sails.

Now I think we'll be lucky to win 2 more games. Split with Buffalo and beat Jacksonville then lose to SanFran, Seattle, and twice to NE. That'll put us at 6-10 and right about where we were last year. I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see this team turning the corner this year.

We should beat the Bills. We still lack the gamebreakers on O. The phins are an easy team to scheme against and beat if you are a good DC. We have to play smart and hard to win. We have done that. I never thought we were a playoff team but like what we have accomplished so far. I still think we are on the right track.

Well, anyone who thought we were going to be a playoff team this year was either mega-optimistic, or just delusional.

The Phins are who they are: rookie coach, rookie QB, new systems, blah, blah blah...

So if we're not a legit playoff team, what difference does it make if we're 6-10 or 8-8, or even 9-7? I'd rather be 6-10 for no other reason than to get a higher draft slot.

The main thing for me this year is to see how our young, core players develop. And to really evaluate the entire roster to maximize the numerous draft picks we'll have next year.

I would consider it a comeback. It would be huge for this team - particularly considering we still have two game with the Patriots left and can compete for the division.

To say it wouldn't be a "comeback" is debbie downer talk.

RESPONSE: I know you're not a lawyer, Dolfan....(JC told us not to use initials), but how could you so totally screw up the meaning of what eesti was trying to convey? He said nothing about what a win against the Bills would mean to the division race. He said everything about the level of competition the Bills presented and whether beating them would be akin to beating the Falcons or the Texans. The thing is that We just got beaten soundly by a team that had itself gotten beaten soundly the week before.

The last two weeks opponents followed the same formula to beat our defense: Throw it over the middle(which we inexplicably can't seem to stop). Then when the safetys are drawn in, hit us long down the sidelines. Of course that only works if you can protect your QB. The Bills haven't been doing a great job at that so hopefully we can get one back.

I'll hope for the best and watch but I'll be prepared for and expecting the worst.
