If you blame this loss even a little on RT, you are an absolute idiot or a troll.

It was a team loss, period but,
an elite QB would have made the throws in that final drive to get the team into a position to at least tie the score.
I don't blame Tannehill for the loss but, he certainly fell short when he had a very real chance of tying the game.

How many interceptable balls did Luck throw today? 3-6. Somewhere in that range.

How many interceptable balls did Tannehill throw today? 0.

And if RT played close to the level of Luck we win today... I think Luck played incredible more then our defense totally sucking... Luck was that good and our QB was not on the same level as Luck, we just couldn't keep up with Luck... Tannehill had a chance to win the game and he was horrible accuracy on that last drive plain and simple.. That was disappointing... When Luck had a chance on a game winning drive, he succeeded, when RT had the chance, he did not... Sucks

MIA C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT SACKS
Tannehill 22/38 290 7.6 1 0 2-9

IND C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT SACKS
Luck 30/48 433 9.0 2 0 1-14

RT's completion percentage even with the overthrown/missed passes at the end of the game and his "below average" receiving core was 58%.

Luck's was just a little bit better at 62.5% with nearly zero pash rush from Miami, throwing 10 more attempts, and a "slightly" higher quality receiving core. Granted he did have some drops from his receivers, but that even shows more evidence of Miami's defensive play because those receivers were wide open too. He even threw at least 3 passes that should have been no-brainer interception. RT didn't have a single pass that I can recall that hit a defender's hands and was dropped.

I don't know how anyone is saying that RT lost this game for Miami. He didn't. He had a chance to connect on some plays at the end that could have saved the game because of the shitty output from the defense, but anyone saying anything different than the defense giving up 13 of 19 1st downs on 3rd down, dropping sure interceptions, and poor tackling is directly the reasons Miami lost is just plain ignorant, or has a motive.

RT has given far less output in previous games (Jets game for expample, St Louis as well), and Miami has won. This was one of his better playing games.

For once someone acknowledges this.

RT's poor performance at the end of the game is a trend - this is not the first time.

The numbers matter not, if the QB can't close the deal. RT cannot close the deal.

The difference here is that QBs are paid to throw, while Defenders are paid to hit, not catch. If they could catch they'd be on offense.

Once again, people are other blaming players for not doing something extraordinary, while they overlook Tannehill's rather basic shortcomings.

Too many people around here are bigger fans of Tannehill than they are the team. They've been hope so bad for the next Dan Marino that they've begun to believe the hype. Sorry, but until Tannehill breaking down in pressure situations, the hype will be just hype and nothing more.

Is he seriously blaming Tannehill for the loss Sam?

Wow.

one of the top defenses in the league gives up 516 yards to a rookie QB and a 3 point loss is the fault of a QB with a 90.9 passer rating and no INT's??

Nope...no agenda there....eye rolling smiley

As I begrudgingly anticipated, they are currently sticking up the place en route to a blow out by one of the leagues worst teams. With that, they are getting gouged by both the run and passing games now. Complete dismantling.

And the season will be done at this point. Might as well start tinkering with positions.

I'd cut jake long tomorrow if it were up to me.

I didn't blame the loss on Tannehill, I pointed out that the QB once again didn't have what it takes to win in an adverse situation. Tannehill is not showing anything to indicate he is elite.

We pick the QB in the top ten (which was a reach). Then start the kid like he is some kind of phenom.

He is not a phenom. Not even close.
