He looks limited to me from that video... He doesnt want to step into that leg very hard when he is throwing... Looks like he is in pain when he is stepping into that leg.... Normally he steps into that front leg and ripps it... Now he looks like he is just going through the motions... He wants to play you can tell, not sure he will or not from what i just saw.... Good that he is moving and taking snaps, but he doesnt look like he could really play with the team and defenders at full speed at this point on wednesday..

Like I mentioned before, it could all be a ruse to keep Indy guessing and not really know who to prepare for. It's been done before. I think we're in good shape either way.

yeah long armed defenders stretching to block or alter the pass, like a DE trying to get around the edge on a tackle

you think it is a ruse that he is hurt or not hurt?

Based on the past history of this coach staff Tanny will sit the Colts game. There is no need to get Tanny hurt. He can learn from Moore on how to get plays down the field too.

RESPONSE: I'm more interested in where YOUR attitude is coming from, eesti.
What is this constant need you have to prove how tough you are on a chatboard?
I don't want our star player risking permanent injury by starting him in the next game after he got knocked out by a hit that most folks could not see why it was that serious.
That means that the injury is of a serious kind.
I see nothing wrong with being careful.
It's NOT being a baby or babying anyone.
You need to find some outlet for your aggression, dude.
Or maybe you're just jealous that football players get paid so much in a physical game and you just can't understand why they should not be subjected to as much physical injury as possible.
dolfin quote.........He can learn from Moore on how to get plays down the field too.
He will learn nothing from moore because moore is just a journeyman.
If it was manning or brady or marino.....yes he could lear something from these hall of famers or future hall of famers. But not from a journeyman who got beat out by a rookie qb.
And thats not a knock on tannehill...................But if you are a qb whos been in the league 6 years and you havent established an identity yet
and get beat out of a job by a rookie qb who didnt play much qb in college who used to be a wr....then you have nothing to teach iam sorry.
SamSam, in my academic experience I have found out one thing for sure. And that is everybody can learn something from anyone. If anything, what NOT to do.
From Hardknocks, it can be seen that Moore was a great teacher, father figure, all around leader and get along with everyone guy.
I'm sure Dolphin meant it in that sense and also given the fact of risk of injury to RT, while RT is on the bench, he can learn from Moore's gametime experience.
Not to say that Moore can help RT with his PHYSICAL mechanics, but that
he can help RT in the things of the mind.
You guys are as nervous as a fiance who is watching his potential bride take dancing lessons from a great looking hunk.
There is no need to feel threatened. Moore is a replacement. Chill. Dolphin was right that Tanny can take advantage of this to learn from a more experienced quarterback.
You hardly have to be a Peyton Manning to be able to teach a kid.
And if you think about it even Peyton Manning cannot teach every kid to become another Peyton Manning.

RESPONSE; I know your post was directed at dolphin. I was defending him.
.................€..

RESPONSE: Actually there was information posted on this board within the last few days in which someone was citing some source that said that Moore's deep ball was actually better than Tanny's. I know I said that Russell Wilson's deep ball was better, but I think I read that recently.
Brady, the argument did evolve. It went from 1) who was better to 2) whether to play Tannehill and risk injury to 3) Could there be any benefit to Tannehill from Moore playing instead and coaching him.
All of these things are things about which people on this chatboard care.
Tannehill will not become better in any aspect of the game if matt moore is doing the teaching.
Now if it was manning dan marino brady....or any other superstar who tore the league up with stats like dan or won a superbowl like manning or brady.........then he will learn a few things.
That matt moore can give him a few pointers here and there....Because hes been in the league 6 years......Ok i agree....
I can't agree with you there Sam.
I retired as a Chief Engineer but right up to the end I found myself learning tidbits of engineering knowledge from Cadets.
Tanny might have a leg up with his familiarity with the offense but, there is no way in hell that he has learned more than the basics on how to read an NFL defense. Moore has alot to teach him.
