No Comp picks for Phins

We received no compensatory picks for 2014. The third rnd is extended by 4 picks the 4th by 8. In this draft some good players will be snatched from us. Sheesh.

Jets recieve 4 picks (139, 209, 210 and 213). New England recieves one and I am unsure which pick it is.

Baltimore got the hook up. They also have 4 and one as early as the third round I believe.

NE always gets at least one. They definitely know how to work the system.

No, the NFL isn't stacked against us, the rules concerning comp picks are.

How can a team lost four starters and those guys start for other teams, and Miami receives no comp picks?

The rules say no to Miami because we signed more than we lost. That is a bunch of bull, IMO. We lose four starters and if we sign five backups; we get no comp picks. That is ridiculous. If we signed four or five starters, then yeah, I agree, but that system is stupid.

We signed 7 starters or major contributors for the 2013 season:
Grimes, Wheeler, Ellerbe, Wallace, Gibson, Clabo and Keller .

We lost 4:
Reggie Bush, Jake Long, Anthony Fasano and Sean Smith.

As much as I'd like to have an extra pick or two, we definitely got more out of FA than we lost.

Perhaps we get one or two next year, but it depends on who else we sign in FA.

Right now we've lost, or are slated to lose: McKinnie, Incognito, Clabo, Soliai, Carroll and Clemons.

And we've signed: Albert, Smith, and Mitchell.
