We should go after Bowe and Chris Ivory

Give KC a third , they will lose him anyway

Give New Orleans a later pick for Ivory

We would be wasting a third for Bowe since he is a FA after this season anyways. Plus, it would likely take him two or three weeks to get acclimated to our offense so we would give a 3rd for a 6 week rental? No thanks.

Which RB do we cut for Ivory? Obviously not Bush or Miller. Thigpen has done a nice job on returns for us. Thomas is a very reliable PassPro guy and has been at least average running the ball. Ivory would be a progress stopper for Thomas and Miller.

I say no trades. Let's keep our bounty of picks and see how our guys play the season out. We will have plenty of cap room to keep who we want and cut who we don't want (we can probably afford the cap penalty next year). We can then bring in a choice FA or two.

this team is finally being built the right way by stockpiling picks and developing talent in house. making trades just for the hell of it is the wrong move. why trade anything for bowe when he is a FA next year and will demand huge money?

Bowe for KC is like Chambers was for us, only he seems to have a worse attitude. He puts up pretty good numbers year in and year out, but really only had 1/2 season that was an unbelievable run (his was the middle half of 2010). In the end, your left thinking he could do a lot more with his talent. When Chambers went to SD, I figured we'd see him absolutely blow it up with Rivers, but it never happened. I fear Bowe would be the same for us except that we'd have to pay to find out, as 1/2 season is pretty short for a receiver and QB to truly click (see Gaffney). If we were to trade for him, I'd be disappointed if it were more than a 6th to see where it goes.

Bowe would be an upgrade to our receiver corp. Besides wanting to get out of KC i don't seehim being a cancer. He would add another problem to our already overstocked F/A list.

I would like to trade Hartline and possibly Thomas and Moore. Afterthe Jets game Moore's stock should have climbed.
