My best wishes to my fellow Dolphin Fans and their families in the NYC metro area, who like myself are hunkered down in the path of this storm.

I hope you and yours make through this disaster in good shape.

Good luck, there is a pretty good storm surge with Sandy, so be ready for some flooding, get your cars above street level if you can... Bahamas flooded from this storm and so did south fla, and it was 200 miles away from here... The tide and surge is still flooding us now

here in DC they are expecting some pretty bad stuff. Work is closed (yay!) metro is shut down, lots of flooding and wind expected. Hopefully the power stays on so my beer stays cold

Storm surge in the NYC area and on LI sound is already higher than Hurricane Irene last year with the storm 250 miles away and high tide not until 8pm.

The storm surge in the Staten Island, NY harbor region is supposed to be over 10feet.

That's about double what Irene produced last summer.

Its going to be real bad in coastal areas.

I grew up in NYC. Lived there 33 yrs. I never saw anything like this. At least in Florida we are prepared for this kinda thing.

They may be Jets fans but I do wish everyone in the area the best.

It begs the question.......why would you build a new Multi$$$$ stadium in the North East and NOT put a dome over it or a retractable roof? confused smiley

Unluckily, my son is there visiting relatives on his mother's side. Only arrived there last Thursday. How would you know when you plan a trip it would be right in the middle of this. In California, we are used only to earthquakes (which probably would unsettle New Yorkers even more) not hurricanes.

I'm weird but I'd love to experience the storm. I just wouldn't want my house in the middle of one . Your son will be fine , I love raging storms and power outages. Brings the family together. To many distractions nowadays.
