This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
Ever since the the Dolphins fired their special teams coach a couple of years ago, Darren Rizzi's special teams have gotten better and better. This game showcased their current excellence in all phases-, kick returns, punting, punt defense, kickoff defense, and most especially, field goal defense formations. Rizzi's teams made a case for Rizzi being as good a special teams coach as the very best- Mike Westhoff. It also shows the young talent Jeff Ireland has made available.
Onside kick...
Blocked punt for TD...
Blocked Field goal...
57 yard kick return...
58 yard punt ...fair catch at 12...
58 yard punt that landed out of bounds at the 6 yard line...
3 field goals...
A dominant performance by our special teams unit. They left Westoff with his head down messaging his frontal lobe.
