Yeah, DolfanKing, Moore is playing defense, special teams and intercepting balls out there. Tannehill doesn't do that so that's why we're scoring more points with Moore than Tannehill.

Bush is being used like Thomas, but Thomas is not a threat and fumbles a lot more.

Until we get a power back, expect to see Bush misused.

I'm not sure what you mean.

I say the word Tannehill in a post and some of you go ballistic.

I've been accused of not saying anything good about this team, and here I am saying that the entire team is playing great without Tannehill and you get upset.

It seems Tannehill is more important to you than the team.

The only time you say the word "Tannehill" is in a derogatory sense, as in "we're scoring more points without Tannehill than when he plays." You seem to ignore the fact that 7 points were off a blocked punt, we had a fumble recovery, a long return on a kickoff, etc. etc. I like Moore and am very happy he is our backup, but Tannehill is clearly our future.

No, it's just that you take every opportunity to put Tannehill down. Sure the team is playing great without Tannehill but other parts of the team rather than the substitute is the cause.

For your not too subtle dig at Tannehill to be effective, it would have to be based on the great play of Tannehill's substitute, not that of the rest of the team.

Do you really think the people on this board are so stupid that they cannot see that you are getting in a dig at Tannehill.

And BTW, I have been Moore's greatest defender on this board, including a post recently when I reminded that we went 6-3 with Moore at the end of last season.

You just don't know what you're talking about.

I'm not digging at Tannehill. I just complimented the entire team.

Some of you are so bent on Tannehill that when we win without him you get upset.

Moore is moving the team, and if Gaffney caught that pass Moore's offense would have put up 27 points.

I'm not bashing Tannehill. I didn't bash Tannehill, just pointed out a fact that this team is not all about Tannehill.

Some of you think one player is more important than the team.

Man you guys hate D Thomas. I thought he played well today. He had some nice runs and his TD run was a very good play by him. On the other hand, Bush still looks tentative and he fumbled.

The most impressive thing to me is that the Dolphins are more of a complete team. They appear to be better prepared than in years past. Philbin should get serious consideration for coach of the year.

With apologies to Dolfanqueen, I think that Philbin and TanneThrill are going to be quite a combo in the coming years

I agree that if Tannehill threw some of the passes that Matt Moore threw today, people would be calling him Marino.... Matt Moore throws some nice passes, no respect... No bragging, what's the deal?

Come to think this team could be easily 6-1. Have to say what if DC had done back then what he did today.

But Crowder, on that spectacular catch made, had Moore thrown it just a yard shorter, it would have been a touchdown.

Hopefully Tanny being held out is just Precautionary. Otherwise it was a great win. We played complete rounded football from every angle. I love Wilson. I said it last year , the Kid is a playmaker.

Thank you for the laughs Ritchie! Blowing Kisses to fat boy was some funny shit.

Crowder, this game had little to do with Moore. He played a great game, but special teams and defense absolutely crushed a pathetic jests team.

That pass to Moore would have been and in stride TD if Tannehill throws it.

Plus, Matt Moore absolutely terrified me throwing those quick passes, I felt every time he threw one that it was going to be a pick 6.

None were, and it was a great game by a complete team.

Philbin is an OUTSTANDING coach.

Clyde Gates looked pretty good today. Wish we could have kept him instead of wasting space on some of the turds that have been cut since.

I think this game showed that Tannehill is not the key to Dolphins victory. This is a strong team all the way around.

I find it hysterical that some have turned this immediately into a Tannehill v. Moore issue. When I look at the two QBs, they are about equal in performance. The only difference is that Moore wasn't drafted #8 overall.

And before all of you go jumping on my because I'm "bashing" Tannehill (which I'm not...), I'll say that I'm good with either at QB as long as the TEAM plays this way.

Both QBs can make some nice throws, both can run the offense, and both can stay out of trouble.

But neither is the next Marino/Montana/Brady. They are just good QBs running a well designed and executed offense.

Kudos to the coaching staff for their planning and teaching. It really showed today.

Yes I would. Our offense barely had the ball.

Anybody know the time of possession in this game?

Matt Moore had 131 yards passing, he had less than 100 QBR, which BTW Tannehill has averaged higher over the last 3 games...

Moore did nothing. Our offense did nothing. Coach Philbin, Coyle, and Rizzi outcoachd the jests staff, and it wasn't even close.

That was epic to watch! So much for talking trash, you would think that Rex and his Jests would keep their mouths shut from here on out. Do you think they learned? I doubt it.

The Jets are out of synch! They played so inconsistently, so poorly the defense and special teams really looked terrific. This was a wonderful Dolphins's team victory. All of the Dolphins players should be thrilled with this one. It appeared we inserted backups on defense in the 4th quarter, and they held it together. The game was over when it reached 20-3.

I was surprised that "The Kid" was injured in that one play. It didn't appear to be that rough of a hit and was even "Moore" surprised that he didn't return. Matt Moore did a good job coming in as the reliever. thumbs up

All and all, another happy Sunday night. smileys with beer

Yeah , at first I was like "cheap shot". But on the replays it looked like he was barely touched. Remember when Marino went down with the Torn Archilles? No one ever touched him. Scary shit. Its that crappy Metlife Turf. Lots of injuries on that feild.

I think RT injured himself trying to avoid the sack, sort of pushed his leg further then what it can do or should. He barely got touched on the play. He'll be back next week.

No - they'd be calling Tannehill the next Marino, and if you pointed out that RT was just a rookie and still has a lot to prove, he'd be calling you a Troll or a Jets fan, or start cursing you, or say he wish you get hit by a car....

You know as the game was progressing, I bet myself that DK would post as he did that the team did better without Tannehill.

The only thing I was wrong about is that I thought he would wait until the game was over to so post.

He didn't. He just couldn't wait.
