What OC will come in not knowing who the GM is going to be? This is Miami Dolphin administration at its finest. A young OC will not come into a situation where Philbin is going to be in a win or fired season in 2014. Unfortunately, as usual we do things backwards. Its the Fins way!

Bill Lazor. They guy they chose to interview before McAdoo.

Maybe McAdoo was told he wasn't getting the job but that wouldn't fit the bash everything dolphins narrative in the local press.

Then why bring McAdoo in for an interview?

If he and Philbin have a pre-existing relationship to the point Philbin wanted him as OC two years ago, then why have him fly to Florida just to tell him we aren't interested?

Would you do that to someone you knew? Or would you just call him instead?

The only conclusion is that Philbin wanted McAdoo while Mac wanted the best deal which turned out to be NY. Lazor was our second choice.

Hard to be upset about a Lazor guided offense.
