That guy and his little scouting outfit just took a big hit in credibility for that ridiculously bad evaluation.
Way to miss the obvious!! Tannehill was coming into a system he already knew and understood. Or, did they not see the big, strong, athletic, mobil, smart, stable, team leader that Helen Keller would have noticed??

Exactly socal. This goes to show how much homework all these so call pronosticators do on the players. And teams.

There seems to be a lot of people who can't think for themselves, and only go by what they hear and read from goof balls like this dude.
I thought then, and still do, that Tanney was the only pick at #8 if available. Especially because of the fit with Sherman.

Yup.........It just bothers me that these guys get paid to talk nonesense.
Most of them do not do any homework, talk crap and get paid for it.

So 2 passing TDs this past Sunday is nothing? What exactly did the defense and Reggie do this past Sunday? The Rams racked up over 400 yards of offense, and Reggie rushed for, what, 19 yards? Stop talking out of your a** DK.

Montequi said all that needed to be said....DK you make no sense at all.....
I dont know if you are a phins fan or not.....But what i know for sure is that you can't stand to be wrong.......
And you are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1000 percent.....Its obvious.
But look at his graph. He's gone from "bust" to "no better than Henne" to "caretaker" (which is average). Even in his own demented mind, he is upgrading his evaluation of Tannehill. Kinda hard to hold on to crazy isn't it?

Chren DK is comical already man and now the only thing left to believe is he is making fun of the phins like that scarecrow from the wizard of OZ MIA1.
Tannehill is far from a game manager type of QB. He can make all the throws and has the confident attitude or swagger that elite QBs have to have. Caretakers don't win a game like the rams game. Henne wouldn't have won the St. Louis game. I couldn't help thinking that when Tannehill put the ball spot on the money to Hartline in the Cincinnati game and Marlon Moore in the rams game, Henne would have under or over thrown both wide open receivers.
Will he be a long term success? Who knows, but so far, he has the look of a franchise QB that you can build a team around.

One passing TD was 30 yards to a wide open receiver. Yea, he can spot the open guy in an offense he has played in for years. So what?
Then there was the one yard passing TD. What is that, his second red zone passing TD this year?

So does this mean his TDs need to be 15 yard passes for it to be okay with you? If so, just average the two examples above and voila! 15.5 yard TD passes!

Wow, DK, you really went off the deep-end this time. I have understood your posts since I have been on this board (which hasn't been that long), but this one....
Meaningful impact? Second best passing day by a rookie in NFL history (400+ yards). The more he plays, the better he plays. Last week - a clean game with 2 TD passes. Miami is 3-3, way above where they were predicted to be. Has started every game, where many thought he would have sit out the first season (me included). Tanney has done just fine, thus far. Caretaker? I'll take it!
Winning with defense? They got clobbered last week vs the Rams. The team is extremely lucky they pulled the game out. I will give you that the offense needs to step it up. 17 points is not going to get it done against the good teams.
Reggie Bush? I could have sworn he had about 17 yards on 11 carries last week. Ummm....I don't think that is carrying the team. In fact, the whole running game sucked vs the Rams. Good thing Tanney kept the game under control; any turnovers by RT and Miami would have probably lost.
From what the Fins have had at the QB position since Marino retired, I'll take what Tanney is doing.

Role player? Is that a step up from caretaker? Are you getting close to seeing the light? How perfect to the TD passes have to be for you to be satisfied? Hitting Moore in stride 30 yards down field isn't good enough? What QB have we had in the last 10 years that could have made that throw that well?

That was a loss.
I could care less if he passes that much, just give me consistent wins. Just play well when it matters.
Sorry, but no meaningful impact as of yet. So far Tannehill has been fools gold.

Crow? For a QB that has led his team to a whopping 3-3 record. BTW, all three of those wins, Reggie Bush was the best offensive player on this team.
And what is worse, if it wasn't for Tannehill's miscues, this team would probably be sitting at 5-1.
Some of you people have your head in the sand about Tannehill.
