Frustrating start on both sides of the ball... At least we have kept them from scoring a td...

Short field, lets see if we can do something with it

They're lucky to be ahead. Hopefully it won't catch up to them but they are getting obliterated on both sides of the ball. Almost 300 yds of offense for the rams already this half. Over 100 yds rushing already.
Def won't be holding the number one rushing defense spot anymore after this game
Now that field goal miss by the Rams' kicker is one that you can BLAME on the kicker. 47 yarders are not GIMMES (referring again to the missed field goal in overtime against the Jets).

This whole series was excellent play calling, Sherman made brilliant adjustments to what the rams were doing... All screens and little dink and dunks

To me he had his hand of the back not hold. I certainly would have been pis_ed if the uniforms were to have been opposite. Even if you could call it holding, it is the type you see on every pass play.
Great drive. Where is BNF? I'll just note that Martin got owned in the first half, albeit against Chris Long. While Long did well except for a couple bogus penalties.
I've seen that type of hold called many times in the NFL and I've seen it not called many times. It's more of a judgement call and depends on what kind of officials you have. These officials are calling contact pretty closely, I don't think I've ever seen so many illegal hands to the face called.
