If the Jets called and offered us a #2 for Mat Moore (Sparano loves other Teams depth) Do we take it and run with Red (Devlin) as the #2?

The More draft picks the better. We now have a QB to build around. The Coaches and staff have seen what makes Tanny Tick. Now they need to find a few more pieces to improve on what he does.

We need a defensive draft with quality Offense pieces. Sell Moore the Journeyman to a team like we used to be while he still has value. We don't need him anymore to just stay afloat.

Matt Moore really proved himself Last Sunday. If A team offers us A second rounder and like a 5th do we still go for it and go with Delvin? I say absolutely! Tanny is our Future. Thats who we are building around. Plus someone recently started a thread here showing how many FA we are going to have next year. If We can Trade Moore we should do it while we can. Imagine 3- 2nd Round Picks!?

RESPONSE: Obviously you both must mean if this happens at the end of the season after we know RT is okay physically.

The one thing I don't like about this coaching regime is that they are very reluctant to play new guys (new to the NFL that is).

Look at Lamar Miller. He should be getting FAR MORE PLAYING TIME than he is.

Instead they stick with Danny Thomas to spell Bush. Yeah, Danny was not as disappointing last week than he usually is but every time he took the ball I held my breath against a fumble.

Even though the score was great, I don't feel that until the final minutes the Jets game was in the bag.

However, had it been. This would have been the time to pull out Moore and put in Devlin.

I just have the feeling that this coaching regime does not play players until they HAVE TO, even when they have the luxury of doing so to find out how these players perform in game time situations and to get them the experience they need.

I said in my post (above) that Miami would be lucky to get a 5th. However, I have rethought this.

Moore is a good backup, and a team that is desperate for a starting QB may just take a chance on him. But....a second would be a miracle, but I would say a team could (possibly) offer a 3rd. Take it!!!

Devlin is there, but I believe Garrard is healthy (once again) and could be resigned.

Now, if the Fins' brass has themselves believing that this team is good enough for a playoff push (which I don't think they are yet good enough), then they possibly won't let Moore go until after the season. But, since none of us are in the know, then we will just have to wait and see what happens.

There are a few teams right now, that could use a talent like Moore, i.e., KC, Philly, and a few more.

Pat Devlin is a legit player.

We definitely have the DEEPEST QB talent in the league. My opinion of course.

With that in mind, one would certainly anticipate Ireland leveraging that "depth" in some way that adds cache in redeemable football fashion. Unless...

the Ireland architect anticipates the opportunity to keep BOTH Moore and Devlin
next year - when the leverage would accrue critical mass and therefore maximum cache!

Moore is Gone next year. We have too many FA priorities. With Devlin in the wings this is how you keep a Team afloat. A Back up QB is a luxury we can't afford. If we could get anything decent for Moore we should.

Miller's problem is his blocking ability...he is still not where he needs to be.

Once he gets that down, we should start seeing him more.

And, Thomas is starting to play better, concusions aside.

Yeah, but what didn't they put him in on plays where they know he's just going to get the ball? You need to give him running experience!
