DOlfanmark, I would say the lack of success in the redzone passing game, is because it is much tougher to pass in the redzone.. The redzone should normally be the last thing a rookie QB does well at.. The throwing windows close quicker, timing is more critical, the reactions time by defenders is much less with such a minimal area of the field for the defense to cover... Tannehill has taken his shots here and there and he hasnt been very successful at it... He has yet to throw a TD pass beyond the pilon... His 2 td's are the bomb to Hartline, and the other a pass to Fasano in the flat to middle of the field that Fasano took in the endzone from his own skills and YAC ability... The running game is lower risk and much better in the redzone then Tannehill passing at this point... 2 passing TD's in 5 games is pretty low, especially when comparing a guy to Marino or Montana or Micheal Jordan..lol..

You didn't know that connection when all the coaches were hired?

Quote from Jeff Fisher about Tannehill after the game, via PFT:

"“He’s got too much poise, too much experience in the system,” Fisher said , via Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post. “He’s going to be a good player.”

Ryan Tannehill will be the only QB since Dan Marino who I'll have a jersey of. This kid is the real deal and I love the confidence that he has as well as his skill-set. I'm perfectly content having him rather than Luck or RGIII. I am more and more confident every week that he'll lead this team to greatness once again.

6 games into his career and Ryan is as good as Bradford (and Luck). Too bad Jeff. Those funky shades you like to wear would fit in much better in Miami.

I did but as Garth said...

Remember when you're talkin' to the man upstairs
That just because he doesn't answer doesn't mean he don't care
Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers.

Not that I was actually praying but...

Same goes for Kyle Orton, Peyton Manning, Alex Smith, Matt Flynn etc...
