We are not that far away from been a contender.

Offense..Positives.

1. The QB position is settled.

2. The OL is set.

3. The RB position is going to be great with a couple of young players in lamar miller and daniel thomas.

4. Lane is a beast.

Offense negatives..

1. Need receivers and TEnds...in draft.

_____________________________________________________________________

Defense positives.

1. We have one of the best defensive lines in football. Soliai is about to become a probowler...Wake is already there.

2. Our LBs are very good..although we need another LB in the draft to compliment wakes pass rush.

Defense negatives.

1. The DB position needs to be addressed in next years draft...Need a top notch safety and another corner to play along with sean smith who is coming into his own. I see a lot of progress with sean smith.

2. Also as noted before need another LB drafted really high to compliment wake. Darby and burnet are not getting any younger.

____________________________________________________________________

Special teams...Strenghs

1.Coverage is a strengh. As opposed to years before.

2. All i ask of the returns is do not give the ball away with the fumbles..>Remember bess and the fumbles years before..? This has been taken cared of with more fair catches....Just give the offense a chance please!

3. We have one of the best punters in football to help with field position....And it goes unnoticed a lot of times..>But field position
is the difference from winning or losing a game most of the times.

4..Also long snapper denney goes unnoticed....Tell that to the raiders and see how they react.

____________________________________________________________________

weaknesses...

1. Only weakness is see so far is the kicker position. I still have faith in carpenter. IMHO he is just going through a rough stretch. I think he will get it going from now on......Just get your head on straight man.....Its just a game......There will be better days.

We are not that far away. We're one game out of 1st in the division. The jest are fading. The bills are demoralized. We are improving. I really like our chances at the division. Ireland absolutely needs to be combing through the practice squads around the league for a receiver or two.

Alright, I want to show how this offense looks in "Madden" format. From my point of view.

QB1-Good
HB1-Need (Daniel Thomas is too slow)
Hb2-Good Lamah Millah -best rb on roster, but hes a 3rd down kinda back
FB1-Good (go JTRAIN!)
WR1-Need
WR2-Good Hartline
WR3-Good Bess
WR4-Need
TE1-Need
TE2-ok Fasano
LT-GOOD
LG-Ok
C-GOOD
RG-ok
RT-good

Agree with almost everything but I think if we find a true, big #1 type receiver, Fasano will suddenly look better. Right now he is the only real 'big' receiver option we have. Bess and Hartline are small, slot and speed guys respectively. We need a BIG FAST man and suddenly our receiver corp is top notch and our red zone passing game gets MUCH better.

IN that vein, I find something interesting. In everyone's opinion, what is the biggest factor in our OL, which most decried as so bad, and i quote - "Any QB will be running for his life " suddenly looking better in both the run AND pass?

Lastly...J_E_T_S ZIP_ZIP_ZIP_ZIP! lol smileys with beer

KB a qb that can scramble and make things happen like tannehill can make any OL look very good.

Looks like tannehill has a knack for moving sideways to the right spot in order to throw the football.....

Also did anybody noticed that pass when he was getting his legs pulled from underhim he was almost falling....he threw that thing far away and they called an interference call on them...

Thats what a great qb does and those are things that goes unnoticed.

Im very hopefull about the kid. He is only 23 or so.

We will be drafting really high this year and i think we will find him the right weapons.

Tannehill is a pure passer like Dan marino was....Vic is more of a scrambling qb....I would take tannehill anyday if i had a choice...
Although i wish vic good luck since i have his rookie card in mint condition.
