I was a little worried about Tannehill's accuracy today after he badly missed Bess on the first pass, but he's been excellent, making good throws and good decisions. I'm also impressed the way the O-line has picked up the blitz and given Tannehill time to throw. The D-line has gotten good pressure on Kolb, and the defense as a whole has been suffocating. Excellent half.
This is a young team that needs to learn how to finish. I'm actually encouraged. People were talking about Ariz. like they were elite. I doubt they'd want to face Miami again.
No doubt that this team is showing real signs of life. This team is improving...just not enough to win the close ones at the end. And not enough to overcome tragic mistakes.
We are fielding a competitive team. We need to continue to learn from the mistakes. Tannehill's career day would have been better served with a win.
Smith had a heck of a game. I still don't see how he let Andre Roberts get outside him on AZ last TD. He had inside help. It was a perfect pass. Seems shit Qb's always throw perfect passes against us. McCoy to Cribbs from last year comes to mind. I'm pissed

This was a good game, but a loss.
What I'm seeing is a team that is improving. Last year's team looked as though it was the best it would get at week 1. I see this team becoming much better in the second half of the season.
As for AZ being elite - I don't see that. They are a good team, but not in the same league as SF, GB, or NYG in the NFC.
Ultimately, the Dolphins got beat by poor secondary play and rookie QB mistakes. The secondary may not get better, but the QB looks like he will.
Tannehill had a hell of a game. He is steadily improving with no ceiling in sight. Just give him a few more weapons to throw to and he will surpass Dan the Man.
Tannehill was awesome. In fact, the team played very well. Our O-Line and D-Line dominated most of the game. Sean Smith was awesome. Cam Wake was off-the-charts. The one REALLY bad point was Naanee. Why the HELL is that guy still on the team!!!??
I completely agree- Naanee should go the way of Benny Sapp. The only two plays I can remember him being a part of were disastrous- This guy DOES NOT have what it takes to help this team win.
