Actually in his rookie year, Brady was 1 for 3 for 6 yards. In his second year he won the famous overtime "tuck rule" game against Oakland which was pure bullshit because he fumbled and should've lost that game. He also had Adam Vinatieri on his team instead of Dan Carpenter.

You asked "after their fourth pro game" - I thought you were talking about their fourth game as a starter.

Brady did well his first four games as a starter, but that was in his second year.

Tannehill looks as though he has a lot to learn. He is still making a lot of rookie mistakes. Brady never really had that opportunity since the coaches kept him on the bench as a rookie in favor of Bledsoe.

Here's what cost us the game, in no particular order:

1. Inopportune break downs in coverage by the secondary.

2. Conservative play by the secondary in overtime.

3. The O-line allowing the defense to get into RT's face immediately after the snap resulting it a fluttering ball interception.

4. Carpenter missing another key field goal.

5. Naanee and his butterfingers.

6. Not enough consistency in the running game.

7. RT making a few rookie mistakes

Sure RT made some mistakes today but he did way, way, way, way,more than enough today...this loss is NOT on him. That said though, he does need continued progress and growth.

I think he will realize those things.

He got hit and that reduced the distance of his throw and it went short and was intercepted.

You see Dolfanking wants to make that like it was a bad throw.
That way he can blame Tannehill.

He doesn't blame the BLOCKING THAT LET THE DEFENDER'S THROUGH.

He doesn't recognize that at the close of the game, they were getting to Tannehill and we weren't getting to Kolb.

I choose to look at like this: The Fins are a competitive team that no one is going to look forward to playing. There is definite improvement week to week. We may have our QB of the future-- he needs seasoning but I like what I've seen from such a raw prospect. We might have our long term head coach. I like Philbin. He's smart and implacable. I think he will be a good coach. We have lots of draft picks next year to address the obvious deficiencies at receiver and corner/safety (hopefully Ireland proves everyone wrong and selects wisely). I never thought we had a chance to make the playoffs this year so I'm looking for improvement and so far, I've seen more than I thought I would. Oh, and the jets are imploding after getting their asses spanked today. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed that. God, Sanchez stinks. lol

Where did I say it was only a bad throw? It was a bad play by Tannhill, but it has to do with what happened before the throw.

It wasn't as if Tannehill got hit blind side. The defender was in his face. Tannheill was trying to force the throw when he should have tucked it and not risked giving away field position.

Tannehill failed to take care of the football. And he did this twice in the game.

So yea, I blame Tannehill. His quarterbacking gave away the game.

And then there is the lack of scoring. Only 21 points? For 450 yards, he should have had more. But Tannehill doesn't know how to close out a drive.

I'm bummed. My thoughts--

I thought we had this game in the bag. Too many miscues late in the game. Naanee is terrible. He has shown nothing. Carpenter, for me, is on the short list to be replaced. Naanee should be released immediately.

Tannehill did a remarkable job overall for a rookie and will be even better next week. Hartline had a career day as did Sean Smith. Reggie Bush was not 100%; I could see him hesitating. Daniel Thomas is inadequate and needs to be traded or cut.

We are starting to gel as a team. That's a good thing.

You forgot to mention Cam Wake!

Lots of great points made and the Dolphins played some great football. Defense (Wake) played well but lost us the game after running out of Gas. I'm still proud of them.

We need another compliment to Wake.

He had a 86.5 rating in this game. Some nice passes, but that rating is more Chad Henne than Dan Marino.

The biggest problems I see in his game right nigh are red-zone passing and turnovers when the pocket collapses.

You know the percentages of something good happening AS WELL AS the percentages of something bad NOT happening go WAY DOWN when the pocket collapses. Do you realize that???????

Kid is going to be amazing. Look at him on the line. He audibles!KILLER Play action. Some of the best I've seen. he made deep passes. He's throwing in front of the recievers allowing them to get Yards after the catch. Kind of makes me wish Marshall stuck around.......Peyton Manning was a Interception Monster his first season too.

He had a a couple INTs that were NOT his fault which brought down his rating. All you want to do is look at stats. Did you actually watch the game?

Stats are for dicklicks. Its like saying you are a genuis in math because you know how to use a calculator. Give me a break. They have their place , but to place your entire opinion on them is just dumb.

And almost 500 yards passing is more dan marino than henne.

And with only 2 receivers and little bit of fasano....We have nobody else....

this kid is going to be something special.

give him the supporting cast and you will find out...

Also you say this offense was different when reggie bush was in the game......in another post......?

the answer to that is we couldnt even run the ball until the end of the game. reggie bush was a none factor...

Did you see the run defense these cardinals had...We couldn't run until the end that he had a couple of nice runs.

thats the difference from henne to tannehill.......you concentrate to stop the run with tannehill on the field and he throws for almost 500 yards...

With henne you do the same thing and henne throws for 200......

Huge difference between tannehill and henne.

Also tannehill is not peeing on his pants....when the rush is coming.

Can't see why anyone who is a true fan is dissing Tannehill at this point. I don't believe in giving a guy years to improve. To me a season is PLENTY of time to see if a guy has something.

Tannehill IS improving. In just 4 games the tips at the line have all but stopped. The stare downs are going away, Moving in the pocket and 'presence' has come around. The comp% and yards are going up. Sacks are LOWEST of any of the 1st rd QB's, quite an accomplishment IMO when people were saying "Anyone will be running for their life behind THIS LINE"!!!! And ALL this with a sup par receiver group made up of a good slot guy (Bess), a speed guy (Hartline), and NO REAL #1 type receiver. The only thing I want to see come around is the performance in the red zone and getting the ball in the end zone. TO me that is where the lack of a big #1 receiver is hurting.

Better production at tight end would be good too. I like Fasano, but he's fairly average.
