Giants are tough to beat, but I like Cam Newton, so I am pulling for Carolina, but I am a fan of Eli and the giants... I like how they just quietly get it done.... emotional choice, my boy Cam Newton beats the Giants...

Hey. I don't know why they say that anymore. The New York Baseball Giants left for San Francisco in the 1950's. I remember hearing it as a 10 year old in 1958 but I thought it would soon fade,
But maybe someone can help me with something else.
Has the NFL changed its long standing policy that all teams in the NFL play the same amount of NON conference (or you could say conference) Games?
We play only 3 NFC teams but I looked at the schedule of an NFC team and they play 4 AFC teams.
But Panthers. Cam will do it. Hope Hokie Fin is not around.

Living in NC, Panther fans are ALMOST as unbearable as Pat's fans...CAM NEWTON, CAM NEWTON, CAM NEWTON! I'm SOOOOOO sick of it. Having pointed out to all the Panther fans at work that the Phins and Panthers had Exactly the same record last year I took a lot of grief..."OH YEA? CAM NEWTON, CAM NEWTON, CAM NEWTON!"...Needless to say, TODAY is a good day at the office.
They can keep Smith. He is not that good any more. Alway hurt and always running his mouth. We may as well have kept Marshall if we want another diva WR. Personally I can't stand the loud mouth.
I'll take a guy like Hartline any day over him. Makes a big play and hands the ball to the ref. No dancing no talking.

IDK looks like he had that pretty well down on his own!
lol! Sorry, I can't help myself I've been abusing the Panther fans at work all day. The Dolphins better show up this weekend or I'll be in for it Monday!
I just didn't like the Panthers whole modus operandi. First they started off with the Wildcat, which of course I hate. They never ran it again but their basic offense play mode is really just a modified wildcat.
He holds on to the ball and options either letting the back carry it or taking off running himself or pulls out and back and throws a pass.
Talking about new. This crap was run in football all the time before the advent of the 1960's and Johnny Unitas when the pass came into its own.
This crap can't survive in today's football with defensive lineman who are still as big as houses, more powerful than locomotive but who are as quick and agile as Cheetahs.
Most of the time when Cam Newton was pulling that "am I going to hand it off or keep it" crap at about the same time he went to pull the ball out from the running back, defensive linemen had collapsed on both him AND HIS INTENDED HAND-OFF target or he was sacked trying to pass or he had to throw the ball away because he had no time left.
It's just a stupid system of running football that I thought would never come back after it left in 1959.
