Michael Vick 29 for 56/317/2 TD/4 int 51.0 rating vs Cleveland?

Not that I buy into either theory but isn't Wilson really a running QB?

It doesn't hurt to have a QB that can run, but he must look to pass FIRST! The Option doesn't work in the NFL, and QB sneaks and draws are, sometimes, more risk than they are worth.

yeah ofcourse... that is what confused me, i dont know of a single qb that drops back on a passing play and looks to run first??? huh??? if you think about that it makes no sense, lol, unless it is a designed qb run... ALL qb's drop back with the intention to throw.

Also rogers the best qb in the game right now and "IS" a "running" qb but somehow he is not labled as such...

Rogers 2010 Superbowl winning Year

64 rushes/ 356 total rush years/ 5.6 yards per run/ 4 run att per game/ 4 Rushing TD...

How is that not a running qb??? im just saying...

I think Tannehill was effective in college because he had good blocking and components who could get open for the quick slant quickly. We don't have that so it going to be rockier for us until we give Tannehill the type of supporting cast he had in college.

You can probably label any guy that wasn't Dan Marino a "running" QB. Dan couldn't run. We all knew that. With the exception of the QB sneak, I think I saw Dan scramble for positive yards twice in his entire career.

LOL he had the ugliest hand-off I've ever seen with that out-streched arm of his. Ole' Dan couldn't fool anyone on a play action pass either, but blitz him and your cooked for a TD. Oh I miss those days so much!!!

With superior pocket presence and a lightning quick release...you don't have to run.

For the record, Luck and Tannehill are both very mobile quarterbacks.
