They have worse WR's than us. That is saying a lot.

McFadden = Bush. It should be interesting game

McFadden is a pansy, running out of bounds to keep from getting hit.
I think we'll win also.

they don't have worse WRs than us, not a chance. But I do think we have a good shot at winning this game.

I think they are hard at work fixing what went wrong. Only way to get a car running right is to test drive it first. Our defense looked decent and special Teams much improved. I think we take'm too! thumbs up

If we don't beat the Raiders, we are in for a long, long season.

The Raiders indeed look like the worst team in the NFL.

I saw the game last night and the raiders looked OK--far from the worst team in the league

Yeah but someone is just making adjustments just in case we beat the raiders he can say the raiders are not real good and ryan tannehill will get no credit.

He is just making adjustments to discredit his tagline.

I disagree with you DK.

The Raiders looked good. Their one flaw was when their long snapper went out.

I used to be one. They are a dime a dozen but they are absolutely indispensable. But not irreplacable.

The Raiders turned the ball over on almost every 4th down after then.

That's like a fumble or interception on every third down.

They will hire a long snapper before Sunday.

But they had a ferocious pass rush.

Their run defense is solid.

Their secondary was the worst part in that they blew coverages.

But their running game matches ours with McFadden v. Bush.

Their QBing is superior to ours.

Their receivers are superior to ours.

Their off. line sucks because of one guy, their right tackle.

He looked worse than Martin looked against Carolina.

Its going to be a tough task beating them, particularly after their loss to the Chargers

we looked worse than the Raiders, I don't think it's even close based on last week's play

If Tannehill and the offense come apart as they did during the end of the second qt, we can not beat anyone..If they minimize the mistakes on offense, and the defense plays well, we should be able to compete with most teams IMO... Right now this team can not afford to lose the turn over batte to often and expect to be in ball games..

Good on both points Crowder. Despite what BNF might think, I think we played pretty well against Houston if you take away the 3 interceptions.

The Raiders played pretty well against the Chargers if you take away the blocked and muffed punts.

If The Bad Dolphins and the Good Raiders show up, we get slaughtered.

If the Bad Raiders and the Good Dolphins show up, we slaughter the Raiders.

If both teams are bad and show up, Flip a coin.

If both teams absent mistakes show up, its a question mark.

I like our condition less because all they have to do is replace a long snapper. We on the other hand have to coach our 1st string quarterback out of several bad habits and we've got to find a receiving game that stretches the field.

But I do think Jonathan Martin is head and shoulders better than the Raiders' RT.

i think we will beat the raiders as well. the league schedules you to play a team every four years so that means in 2016 cause as of this year we have no chance lol... we stink! giving up 21 points in what 1 or 2 minutes how is that possible?!?

and we will be in a 2nd place tie in the AFC East after the Jets play a real team this week.

Chiefs over Bills (in Buf)
Steelers over Jets (in Pit)
Pats over Cards (in NE)

Then we play...

Jets at home
NE at Baltimore
Buffalo at Cleveland

Then for Miami, 3 straight wins...

Cards, Bengals Rams....

NE 4-2 (losses to Bal and Den)
Miami 4-2 (losses to Jets and Hou)
Jets 3-3 (losses to Texans, 49ers, Pit)
Buffalo 2-4 (losses to Jets, Chiefs, Pats & 49ers)

We could be tied for 1st after 6 weeks or maybe a game down to the Pats if they beat Den or Bal.

There's a good chance of beating the Raiders. I hope so, because 0-2 is just going to make everyone super bitter.

The loss last week was frustrating as usual but I refuse to jump on the knee jerk band wagon.

After week one....

The Patriots looked good and are now SB favorites because they beat the Titans and Jake Locker. eye rolling smiley

The Jets are "for real" on offense because they killed the 6-10 Bills. eye rolling smiley

The Eagles narrowly excaped defeat from the Browns even after Weeden threw 4 picks.

The Steeler got mopped up by the Broncos.

The Cards beat wonder boy Russel Wilson and the Seahawks.

The Vikings won over Jax and Gabbert played a nice game.

The Lions barely won vs the Rams.

Ryan Tannehill is doomed for the season because we lost one game against a top 2 defense.

Like I said....it's frustrating but it may take a few more games before I freak out. We've all seen those games where nothing goes right. (Unfortunatley they happen all the time in Miami). Facing Houston first game as a rookie is probably not ideal but I still saw a guy (RT) that did not look out of place in the NFL. Fix the mechanics and the tipped balls will go away. Just ask Chad Pennington.

“Especially with the underneath routes, you have to have what they call a ‘high plant leg,’” Pennington said. “You actually have to throw it taller than what your body is. You have to get up on that front leg and be able to extend as high as you can and almost throw down.”

I'm sure this technique is not new news to Philbin and Sherman.
