John Martin is the starting right tackle, right now Jerry isn't practicing and hicks is coming back from and injury... The back up rt lydon murtha was cut. Rg is up in the air

Long is a no-go, so they moved Martin to LT. Truthfully, this line is STILL in flux. This is getting ridiculous.

thought Long was supposed to be back week 1

btw anyone notice our backup LT is Will Yeatman, who played TE (badly) just last year? how is it we are always in this mess, no matter how many draft picks and FAs we use on the line?

I never saw it either but when they cut Murtha who was set to make just under 2 million, he was Martin's only competition at RT. Along with annoucnements by Philbin, he expects Long to play, and the fact he has only missed 2 games in his 64 game career. I just assume it. I saw Jerry was working in rehab with Long today during practice and Hicks was coming back from his injury. But I would guess both Jerry and Long will start....

By the time the rest of the team is fixed, Long will need to be replaced.

Josh Samuda showed enough to beat out vet Cook at C even though he was a G. He is now working at G so let's see how he does there. Could be a starter? He comes from a zone scheme in college. Must be a bright kid to be able to learn C and beat out a veteran. Benches 425 lbs, squats 600+.

Can play LG or RG.

Coaches like him because he is athletic and can pull and get to second level.

if we had a great C on the roster I'd be thrilled to move pouncey to G and solve all our OL problems

Wow. That would make Pouncy a first round guard. Oy.

There are two guards and one center. Law of averages.

Why in the world would you move Pouncey? It's a lot easier to find a RG than a center.
