yes Im a Dolphins fan but I am an objective one. not one who goes out of his way to PROP up everything dolphins.
Put Mannings numbers next to Chad's. It's not even close. Sorry. The numbers dont' lie. And it isnt' like Peyton won the vote in some tight race, he won it in a landslide!!!!! So, I'm not alone with my opinion
How good were the Colts in '07 and how good were the Dolphins in '07? Did Peyton Manning QB the Colts in '07 and did Chad Pennington QB the Dolphins in '07? Seems like 1 QB turned their team around 10 wins in 1 season.....you pick the QB.
Perhaps what Aqua&Orange is trying to say is that Chad meant more to his team this year than Peyton meant to his. After all, it was sort of "business as usual" for Manning this season whereas Chad really helped turn things around for our team. I don't know...I always thought the MVP award should be based on just what I said...which player means the most to his team and has the most impact? Just my opinion.

I'd say that's the definition of "Most Valuable Player". Problem is, that applies to the individual team MVP. As for league MVP, perhaps it means who makes the most money for the league. Hence...Manning.
I mean Miami's biggest plays on offense came when Chad was lined up at WR and did little to nothing in plays. Not a knock on him, but when you compare that to what Manning means to his team........it's not even close
And the most respected sports reporters agree with ME!!! Hence, the landslide victory for Manning as MVP
once again, LAST YEAR has nothing to do with this! It's a yearly award!
Also, why is this even up for debate? Excecpt for a small minority of dolphins fans, nobody believes Pennington should have got it. Like I said, Manning got every vote.
Listening to 790 The Ticket and WQAM all week, no Dolphins fans are upset with Manning winning this. Only a select few die-hards who probably think every Dolphin should win every award and think the dolphins will win the suepr bowl every year no matter what are upset with the selection of Manning as MVP. It's not even close.......Manning won in a landslide for good reason.
