For a 5th? I say heck yeah.

He was always the 3rd or 4th receiver in GB and still puts up over 600 and 7 tds (2012).

He would probably be a one or two here. Speed guy that can stretch the field. Big play guy that catches long td's.

Good compliment to Bess.

This is almost a perfect fit. Could hit the ground running.

Here's the problem. I don't see GB giving up a 27 yr old #3 since Driver prob only has a year left or so...for only a 5th. I think it takes at least a 3rd.

We need him and they know it.

other problem...

His base salary is $2.3 million this season and $2.95 million next season.

we are going to give up a 2d rounder and over pay for this guy. I've seen this move before---Lamar Gordon for a 3d round pick in the WannSpeil years

They likely will give him up at a reasonable price as they have a few good young receivers

i think he will give the 2d we just got, which would be moronic and desperate, which is why i think he'll do it

Berk, what has Ireland ever done that makes you think he is desperate? Not saying he hasn't made mistakes, but I have never thought he seemed desperate.

He hasn't, but it's too easy of a slam for some people to pass it up.
