Now watch People afraid to post their own 53, nitpick about my 53, each poster griping about a different one of the 53.

chyren, you do realize you listed more than 53 players right?
I won't nitpick but I will give my thoughts. Lots of waiver wire picks at WR and DB so I won't post my 53.
Offense
-won't keep 12 OL, try 8 or 9 tops. Also, Murtha is probly headed to IR.
-won't keep 4 QBs, they have some decisions to make there
-lane vs. mastrud for the final TE/FB spot with clay playing more at either position depending who gets cut.
-thigpen vs. slaton for final RB spot
-impossible to predict WR's besides Bess, besides we will head to the waiver wire to grab at least 1-2 guys.
Defense
-Baker over McDaniel? Very possible but I'd still be surprised.
-Shelby vs. Westermann for final DE spot
-At LB, who is Freeney and why do you have him over Trusnik?
-At LB, it will be Kaddu vs. Trusnik vs. Spitler for final 2 spots.
-They will definitely keep more than 7 DBs. I'd guess 8 or maybe even 9. Also, I'm guessing we'll look to the waiver wire to round out the last two spots.
So the final spots will come down to keeping an extra WR or OL and keeping an extra DB or LB. Ireland loves DL so maybe we keep 9 but that's unlikely.
I'm sure I'm gonna miss on a few, but that was the intent of the game... to see who could come closest to naming the final 53. But I guess I'm the only one playing and everyone else is critiquing instead of providing their own list.
Just "block and copy" mine and go to Curt's roster and make your substitutions and then post yours.
Anyone wishing to provide their 53 can merely "block and copy" mine, Paste it, then go to Curt's "roster" and make additions and subtractions. It's easy to come up with your own roster.
I thought you'd want to know chren and alright you talked me into it. I cannot resist speculating on all things dolphins.
Offense- 26
QB 4- Tannyhill, Moore, Garrard, Devlin
RB 4- Bush, Thomas, Miller, Thigpen
FB 2- Lane, Clay
TE 2- Fasano, Egnew
WR 6- Bess, Hartline, Wallace, Moore, Naanee, Gates
OL 8- Long, Incognito, Pouncey, Jerry, Martin, Hicks, Garner, Samuda
- Murtha to IR
- QB situation impossible to know without progress reports on Garrards injury, eventually we will only keep 3
-Hogan, Mathews, and Yeatman will definitely be on PS unless stolen
- I expect 2 waiver wire pickups at WR for Moore and Naanee
Defense
DL 8- Wake, Odrick, Shelby, Vernon, Starks, Soliai, McDaniel, Randall
LB 6- Dansby, Burnett, Misi, Kaddu, Spitler, Trusnik
CB 4- Smith, Marshall, Carroll, Lawrence
S 4- Jones, Wilson, Clemons, Culver
- Lawrence and/or Culver will probably be replaced by wire pick ups.
ST
Fields, Carpenter, Denney
I am in no way confident of this prediction. The last ten spots are impossible to tell because I'm not a coach.

So ole ChyrenB wasn't completely out in the woods when he posted it. And I'll bet they do at the end of the week as well. Just can't gamble with Garrard's health. If they do make a move, the move should be to cut Garrard, can't rely on him to be able to play.
Of course, this should have occurred to Ireland in the first place.

At this point, the questions are "who will be the backup" and "who has trade value". I can see the FO more comfortable with Garrard as a backup than Moore. I can see Matt Moore having the trade value.
