they hired Tony Sparano as their OC and signing Tim Tebow. Immediately, I knew both were a huge mistake and celebrated the moves.

Some of you guys see us as a crumbling franchise, but I see us as successfully rebuilding. We are missing some pieces, but we have a young group and a stock pile of draft picks. The Jets have less of everything. I like where the Dolphins and the Jets are headed.

yes I'd rather be us then the jets. for real. we at least have no where to go but up, have a promising QB and lots of draft picks. the jets suck and they actually think they are built to win now. and they have tony sporano calling their plays!

and the Bills just traded for Tavaris Jackson (LOL) because Vince Young has played so poorly. Chalk another positive non-move up for Ireland.

All of the sudden the Jets, Pats and Bills aren't looking so good.

I suddenly do not feel so bad about the dolphins anymore.

Good post JT,

I'd like to see us tighter on defense but have no issue with the moves being made.

]The so called vets on this team laid and egg last year, and then turned it on when it didn't matter, such that we got 8th pick.

I'd love to see them competitive, but after watching the Panthers play the jets, I do believe that they truly suck worse than we do. Haven't seen buffaloe play yet.

We have issues beyond the WR position, main concern is defense. Philbin is making decisions now that will pay off, as very soon it will be tooo late to get any value for players.

- I'm real tired of hearing whining about Marshalll being gone, or Chad being gone. Yes we need WRs ... but not them!

- Getting a second and conditional pick for VD was awesome! We are sooo bad at WR, and may end up getting some improvement in the team quality with the upcoming roster cut downs.

No matter all the moaning I hear about the FINS ... we have gotten better over the off season ... just not good enough yet.

- We had a ton of needs, and the "heroics of the last 6 games last year" meant squat.

- The vets on this team laid an egg last year. Getting rid of those without what it takes to be ready to play in September is IMHO brilliant!

Marshall - Cancer (good player but overvalued)
Vonte Davis - Slacker (high potential, overvalued)
Dansbe - Beginning to wonder if he fits a similar mold (Hasn't lived up to his pice tag yet

And thank god we got rid of 85 quick.....He sucked and all he was going to do was bring a distraction to the teams development. Good writtens.

TreasureCoast, I have to tell you, that clip of Sparano fist pumping after a FG is priceless. One thing I was wondering about, however,is that since most OCs are in the coaches' booth upstairs, how will Sparano perform the FG fist pump in such limited quarters? I wouldn't want to be sitting next to him when that happens.

The Jets are the first team in 30 years to NOT score a TD through the first 3 preseason games. LOLOLOL

Sparano has not even seen the first game and he is already on the hot seat.

As in the Beau Knows commercials, Sparan-knows field goals.

Best news of the offseason was that the Jets hired Sparano. Sanchez finally will get an OC that "gets" his game.

Miami Dolphins. Always Perfect.
