Yup. But you might want to add, in those first few games, the coaching staff did the OPPOSITE of Sparano. Whereas Sparano was TOO CONSERVATIVE, this staff was TOO RECKLESS.
In those games, we could have run the ball into SURE FIELD GOAL range, but instead, based on his performance in the 2011-2012 season, the new coaching staff got reckless and assumed that a 47 yarder was a "gimme" for any field goal kicker.
A 47 yarder is not a gimme. A 40 yarder yes, but not a 47 yarder.
We threw three consecutive long bombs on the first three downs, as I remember it, in the overtime game and then when Carpenter missed the 47 yarder, the Jets, I believe it was, won the game in overtime.

Why all the negativity. There were no coaching mistakes last year.

Is this really you typing something positive for once?
Can anyone in the AFC East rise and challenge the mighty New England Patriots this season? Here's a complete list of AFC East odds for the 2012 NFL predictions season:
New England Patriots: -400
New York Jets: +600
Buffalo Bills: +700
Miami Dolphins: +1200
OSH AFC East predictions: New England Patriots
berkeley223> it means you have to be $400 to win $100.
berkeley223> if you took the phins and bet $100, you win $1200.

Sorry but I'm just catching up with this thread but in English isn't this?
1. Bet on Patriots to win is 1 to 4 odds
2. Bet on Phins is 12 - 1 odds
That was last season's odds. I'll post the odds when I see them. I think Pats will still be a heavy favorite to win the division, and if so, picking the Dolphins to win the AFC East would be a real smart play.
