Dolphins owner Stephen Ross said Monday night he is “very disappointed, to put it mildly” about his 0-4 team but believes Tony Sparano “is the right coach” and that the players believe in him.

I think Mr Ross, understand something important, that is so often overlooked. You can not be successful in the NFl changing regimes every 3-4 years.
One consistency among all recent Superbowl champs in the ever changing NFL, is consistency in the system....
Pittsburg, New England, Green Bay, New orleans, Giants, etc
While I understand the frustrations, I am no connvinced that Regime change will really change anything around here... We have changed lots of regimes over the last 12 years and the only consistency we have is losing... The culture around this team sucks and that has plaqued us through 4 regimes. Why would we think that another regime change is all of sudden going to fix that, when we have no past experience that shows us this to be true...
This situation has all the makings of 2007 all over again. It is only a matter of time before the players realize that Sparano is gone, and stop playing for him. The whole regime is bound to be givin it's walking papers by season's end, and players will be more about playing for themselves, rather than for team. As this has already begun, the team concept will be totally lost very soon. If they fire Sparano during the season, all it will do is apease some of the fanbase. The main difference between now and 2007 is that the stadium will be 3/4 empty most every week. I was at the 2007 Dolphins/Ravens game, and the place was mostly full. The fans still cared. This year, the apathy is higher due to this regime failing for multiple years, as apposed to Cam's fail forward was only 1 yr.
Bottom line, this orginazation has a lot of work to do to recapture it's fan base.
If a player can refuse to leave a game and the coach does nothing about it - the player and the coach need to be shown the door immediately by the owner.
If players can act like little kids and get penalties in a game and the coach does nothing - the player and the coach need to be shown the door immeidatley by the owner.
I am sure there are more examples.
No discipline and you have no team.
This owner and this coach have no business in my Miami Dolphin's organization. PERIOD.

I think we were there by the 2nd half of the NE game. 2007/2004...take your pick. Both were lost seasons. The only positive we got from them was very high draft picks. So, if this is 2007 again, then we may be in Luck during the draft!
He is the Right Coach. Ross wants to start over and having the #1 pick in the draft is nice bait for a Top Tier Coach. As long as the Jets keep sucking as well , I'm good flushing this season down the crapper for a shot at Luck.
What else is Ross gonna say? "Well if Sparano doesn't start winning games I'm gonna have to fire him pretty soon here"
Ross isn't ready for a coaching change during the year so all he can do is offer some kind words and a bit of moral support for Sparano, heck it's the least he can do after having Tony hang in the wind while the front office tried to chase down Harbaugh.
After we miss the playoffs AGAIN! we WILL have a new coach to start the season next year so I'm really not gonna worry too much about it this season.
