Negatives:

1. The OL go destroyed.

2. No running game whatsoever. Only about 40 yards rushing throughout the entire game.

3. Sean smith still getting beat up and can't tackle will never be as good a tackler as vontae davis...Last night was prove.

4. Marlon Moore i think it was dropped a sure td pass in the endzone from the MVP Tannehill last night.

5. No passrush whatsoever. I think there was only 1 QB hurry.

6. We are weak at the safety position.

Postitives:

1. Ryan Tannehill looked like a superstar out there. Had no running game and the OL was getting beat up and he still managed to throw perfect spirals most of the time to the receivers going in stride.

You all saw the difference from matt moore and that other scrub qb at the end to ryan tannehill.

Tannehill was like a power pitcher with control......Even in spite of the weather. The ball was wet and it was humid . We were playing in terrible condition....Good that there is no more infield mud....


2. The receivers caught a few passes including cunningham....who is this guy and where did he come from. He is going to be great. He catches the ball in traffic has glue hands and is not afraid to get hit

3..RB....the one we drafted this year was it daniel thomas....am i mistaken?? or lamar smmith i dont know He looks lightning fast when he catches the ball in the open field...

4. A couple of backup LBs looked very good on defense...i think spitler and trusnick....We need them sure tackles for special teams.

The phins future success is riding on one main thing. And that is the development of ryan tannehill.

So far so good. He looks like a keeper, has a great arm and control of his passes....Also he has a good feel for the pocket...again remember the weather we had last night.

When the game ended one of the commentators said ryan tannehill knew perfectly where he wanted to throw the football and he did.

He knew exactly what was going on in the game.

Someone needs to update the schedule on this site that and the roster and depth chart....Iam very confused about the players we have....I dont have time to go anywhere else..

Missed pass: Roberto Wallace, but he was the receiver that looked good to me.

Daniel Thomas was drafted in 2011.

Lamar Miller is the runningback who looked so fast and was drafted last year.

85 needs to shut his mouth and hold on to the ball. That missed 1st down ended that drive and kind of set the pace for the 1st half.

Tanny made me smile, we might have finally got one.....

The first PreSeason game is not a good barometer at where this team is at...but, there is certainly plenty to be concerned about.

On the positive side:

1) Trusnick
2) Tanehill
3) Wallace
4) Clay
5) Pruit
6) Fasano
7) Egnew
8) R Baker
9) Fields
10)Freeny

Negatory:

1) Chad Johnson
2) Vontae Davis & entire secondary
3) Overall bad tackling
4) communication
5) Run Defense

This game kind of reminded me of how poorly our defense played at the beginning of last season. Not enough hitting in training camp and too many mental errors.

Wilson should have had an INT. But, waited for the ball to come down like he was catching a punt. At the very least, he has to knock the ball down.

The offense did show spurts of rythm... but, losing yardage on running plays and dropping easy passes on third down is a self inflicted wound.

Chad has earned enough for at least 1 more week. I'm sure he is getting some serious ribbing for that missed pass and it will be VERY prominent on hard knocks. If he can't get motivated after that , he's done. Stick a fork in his ass.

Well the Chad Johnson dilema is over now.

Chad is gone. Him and all his problems.

referring to the title of this thread....

I saw that Tannehill and RGIII both have a stronger arm than Andrew Luck. His arm is adequate but doesn't possess a cannon. (not unlike Manning) He still looked pretty damn good against the Rams. Lets see how he does against the Steelers this week.
