Today iam thankfull..

Today iam thankfull because i just had cataract surgery last tuesday and it was all good.

Thank you lord for a wonderfull family and my surgery and the champions miami heat....and the future champs MIAMI DOLPHINS.

PS - I hear tannehill is doing well....It would be a dream come true if he can become as good as dan marino was. Or nearly as good. I will take nearly as good anyday...

We haven't had nobody nearly as good as danny boy ever.

Hopefully the QB situation is settled in dolphin land.

Good on ya, Sam.

However, Tanney will (probably) not be as good as Marino; Dan is a rarity in the NFL world. Guys like him come along only once in a blue moon.

If Tanney plays as well as Dan, I will be shocked, but of course,at the same time, very pleased. I just want him to be a really good QB that sticks with Miami for a long time and leads them to great things.

Again, good to hear positives about your eyes.

thanks guys....As far as dan he gave me close to heart attacks sometimes...good that i was younger...i dont know if i could take that nowdays.

I remember 4 minutes left against colts....long time ago....we are driving on our own 25 winning by 2.............dan trhows a int for td.....home game i went to...

then comes back for the winning drive on that last play of the game with a td pass...

I dont think i could take many of those with my age now.

I actually taped that game. The one after JJ called him out publicly? 98? Mannings first year. It's good to pull that one out of the vault occasionally.

i Think it was that other QB for the colts that day....the one that there are two brothers and are coaches or something....forget their names...

One of the brothers is 49ers coach i do not remember well

i recall a game at home (I watched it on TV) against the colts where Steve Emtman picked off Marino and returned it for a TD. Then Jim Harbaugh put the game away. This would have been in about 95 or so because I remember watching it in college.

i looked it up after i posted and i was combining 2 different games/years. emtman took back a marino int 90 yards to seal a loss in MIA in 1992, and Capt Comeback Harbaugh lead a comeback to beat us at him in OT in 1995. I think that was the same year the colts almost went to the SB, when the WR dropped the hail mary in the endzone against Pitt in a AFC Champ game.

there also was a game up in Indy maybe in 1999 or so when Marino hit Gadsden up the sideline to seal a comeback win in the 4th quarter. NOW that was a great win!!

was that the one where that famous call where dan was throwing and they hit him on the arm....and the ball fell out....and they called an incomplete pass?

Yes if it's the one from 98...and I believe the rapey running back was with us then. Cecil the Deisel Collins. But it was Oct. 10 1999 not 98. Manning's 2nd year. We swept them in 98.

Manning ran out of his end zone for a safety and then Marino hit Gadsden for a 2 yard TD so seal the win.

Dan was 25/38 393 yards 2 TD's

Collins scored a 25 yard TD as well.

now those were the days! though in just a few weeks we'd be trounced 62-7 by Jax, Wanny would come in and f the team up irreparably, Marino would be gone and replaced by 26 wannabees---all down hill from there....
