Yes, it's nice to have depth. But if you want sport the jersey of our starting quarterback, you have to have it custom made. Oh but you can by the clipboard holders jersey no problem. I'm sorry folks. Something about that situation seems asinine to me.

I think we have 3 guys that are very evenly matched, so that means our 3rd stringer will be about as good as our 1st. Whether that means we have depth...or just 3 mediocre QBs...I don't know.

Buffalo is prob just as good (if not better) and 3 deep. Fitz, Young and Thigpen.

We have two guys that would battle for a starting job on any team, and win at least half. Agree that is more than most teams, but ultimately makes us mediocre at the position.

I think it just reflects what we already knew.

1. We didn't have what we wanted at QB last year and switched from Henne to Moore. He was better as the year went on.

2. We have had squat for coaching and developiong QBs. Thus we fired the coach and got a new one.
- He by the way is bringing in a new system that makes offense a whole lot more exciting.
- He also appears to be a much smarter and effective leader.
-

3. The new system requires a different kind of QB.
- Moore deserves a chance based on what he did last year
- We brought in another Vet experienced in the new system (yet was injured) & thus have a QB competition
- We spent our top pick on a QB familiar with WCO, but he needs development time.

4. Thus we have 3 unproven QBs - Thus today's rating all 3 mediocre
All three have potential upside and the jury is out in how they will perform: That's what we find out this year.

a. Will Morre be effective in the WCO? Who knows?
b. Will Garrard return to form prior to injury? Who knows?
C. Will Tanneyhill be a franchise guy or a bust? Who knows?

I will say this. I like the idea of the offenseive and defensive changes and the coaching and personnel we picked up look like with time they will move us out of the cellar.

How much time? That's the question of how good this coaching group will be.

Yes we're deep! But it could be in deep $hit or deep in quality ... don't think anyone knows that yet.

Deep group? ... okay... but what matters most is the talent level of your starter.

There is some sanity. Be careful, someone may call you a troll for not saying we got the next Dan Marino.

DolfanKing...I wouldn't call you a troll but it's hard to find anything you like about the Miami Dolphins.

Over the last month or so this is what I've gathered from your posts....

You don't like Ryan Tannehil and think he was a 2nd tier Qb that we reached for and will be a bust.

You don't like Ireland or the the offeseason moves he made.

You don't like Ross.

You don't like Ocho Cinco and think he is a washed up primadonna and we are better off with one of our younger guys.

You don't like our Head Coach or OC or our new offense.

You don't think this team can be successful on offense with the people we have.

Wow, that is a pompous, high and mighty post....

First off, you're general conclusion is wrong. I like quit much the great history of Phins, Dan Marino, the perfect season, Don Shula.

I admit I don't like Ross or EightFive. EightyFive has always seemed like classless underperformer more interested in making news than making good news. And Ross has sold out what shred of class and dignity this franchise had after the like of Wanny, Saban, and Cameron.

While I don't have an opinion on Ireland personally, I admit that I agree with all the "fire Ireland" signs. Really, what has he done? Nothing at all. He's had his chance, he failed, next please. The only reason our coward owner keeps him is that he doesn't know what else to do.

Tannehill - I don't like or dislike the guy. I just don't think he was worth of a top ten pick and don't think he'll start this year. I'm not alone in that assessment, though around here I'll be called a "troll" for expressing what many consider a valid and informed opinion.

You say I don't like the HC or OC? Baloney. While I've said that they have proven nothing yet (FACT), I never dissed these guys. This is just crap you're making up to pick a fight. You're the one seeming a bit troll like here.

Only if we have Don Strock to back him up.

Ignore him, DolfanKing. Typical post by eesti. Coming out of nowhere to blindly attack another poster.

Your sin? Answer: Not completely agreeing with him in every aspect.

Your second sin? Answer: Showing a mind of your own.

The positions that eesti pointed out above were positions in which the board was split half and half on each issue. With the exception of the OchoCinco point, I agree with you on all of them.

And even on that point, I think I agree that it would have been an arguable position to take that we would have been better giving more opportunities to younger guys. I'm just not sure he's washed up (assuming, of course, that WAS your position and not just how eesti misrepresented it).

And eesti himself fully fulfills the definition of a troll. When I was a kid and read fairy tails, a troll was a monster that hid underneath a bridge and waits until someone walks by above and jumps out and attacks them. eesti is the perfect definition of a troll.

You must have been looking in the mirror when you typed pot meet kettle. The only one staring back at you was your own mug.

No one is following you around. When you come out and attack people personally for no reason like you did DolfanKing and yes, like you did me, hell yes I'm going to respond.

Since you seem determined to break the rules and have twice alluded to private messages, I might as well tell the whole story.

You came out of nowhere after months of layoff from the board and attacked me JUST LIKE YOU DID DOLFANKING.

I pmed you to say, "Whoa. What's your problem? I've never attacked you like that. where are you coming from?"

Your response was just as nasty as you have been to the rest of the people on this board and hell yes, everytime you do it I'll be there to bite your ass.

So if this is YOUR PLEA FOR MERCY, forget it!

And yes, I love to bully bullies and your post sounds a helluva lot like a whining bully little sissy trying to appear brave before the audience.

And if anyone wants to see what a friggin liar eesti is, PM me and I will forward you copies of what I said and what he said.

I've reviewed them. I pm-ed him about "coming out of nowhere and attacking" and far from his lie above, he replied that he meant no offense and maybe we got off on the wrong foot and apologized for any offense taken. Compare that with what he says above.

What a liar!!!!!!!

I've had my disputes with The Truth and with Dolphaholic and others. I admit I was just as much to blame as them. But never has there been an absolute troll like eesti. And now he has added shameless liar to his resume.

That is one of the most senseless, off-topic, meaningless rants I've ever seen written. And no, I didn't shoot your dog.

Everyone cut the personal attacks, and allegations of personal attacks. It's absolutely silly. I know it's a boring off-season, but this is not the way to fill the time.
