We beat the Jets.

Also, we invested a 2nd round pick in Henne.


The Jets invested a top 10, maybe a top 5...can't remember. Either way,
a top 10 QB bust normally puts your franchise back 4-5 years.

Agreed, despite Henne's dismal performance, I'd rather him over Sanchez. I still say, we can win with this guy....we need an up and coming TE and a stud RB....I'd keep Ricky as backup and let Ronnie walk. Draft a young kid and run with him...

The bottom line is, if Henne is/does fail, we invested a 2nd round on him, not a top 5.

That really makes me feel a lot better about wasting 3 years on a dud.

Furthermore, just because we won the SUCK QB game doesn't change a thing in terms of the reality we have at the position.

And then there's the flip side of your equation. It's because we didn't use our #1 to get a real franchise QB when we had the chance we're still debating the position.

Just a thought...
