I did it because I knew people would think I was just attacking YOU again and people are getting bored about that so I wanted people to discuss the Redskins rather than not read the post.

I find it funny that the draft analysts think that this pick was wrong, babbling about how it may affect RG3's psyche knowing that Cousins is a tough competitor who wants his shot at being a starter.

I read your words, 808 phan, but I'm trying to put them together to see what they say.
If Cousins is a tough competitor, why should that be good for RGIII's psyche?

It isn't good for his psyche. I just happened to find it funny that there were draft analysts who were jumping all over it and bashing the Skins for what they did.
I think the Skins did the right thing. It's time for Beck to be dumped, and maybe Rexy too, unless they want a veteran backup, but I don't see them keeping 3 QB's past the pre-season.

Do you EVER think there is such a thing as too many quarterbacks, A & O?
dumb pick. rg3 is clearly the starter and with all they gave up to get him they are committed for years. cousins isn't going to get enough snaps to increase any trade value. they waisted a pick on a backup qb

I'd be pissed if I were cousins. No way No how he will EVER be the starter after what they gave up for RGIII. I'd ask for an imeadiate trade or I'd sit out the season.

Not even taking serious injury into account, IF RGIII busts and is another J RUSSELL or something, COUSINS will start by 2014, if not 2013...and he'll be readier than he is now.
Good pick for the Skins. They did not have a nfl starting caliber qb on their roster and now they have two. I do not think RGIII gives a damn about them picking Cousins. He will be the starter. Cousins was my favorite qb in the draft after RGIII and LUck. If he develops the Skins will trade him for 1st rounder. A 1st for a 4th pick, good investment all around.
Cousins will need to do a lot of developing. He is not very good right now, much too inconsistent at Mich St with accuracy, decision making, and his arm strength is a little lite too.

No, that's not correct. The Deadskins selected 2 QB's because they hope to wash their hands from journeyman QB's, like Grossman and Beck. They want to start fresh.
If TAnnehill starts, then we have solid backups in atleast Gerrard or Moore.

How? from learning from a Bust? Your argument makes no sense. If Cousins wants to be a starter he is screwed. If he's happy holding a clipboard and carrying the scrubs in practice for a paycheck, more power to him.

I agree, but I think he'll hang out for a year. After that who knows.
