Well, the only WR taken in between was Danny Coale. I don't think anyone here was salivating for him, so good move by Ireland so far. Let's see what the pick is.

Sounds like a special teamer to me. Didn't think they needed to go WR but there were better players available almost everywhere else on the field.

If Jimmy Johnson were doing the drafting I wouldn't feel any need to criticize.

Since it's Jeff Ireland, he could be drafting Lawrence Taylor cyborgs and I would still wonder if they were any good.

The record speaks for itself, sadly.

He found us bess as a walk on......relax. I like this draft so far. At this point you pick the best player , not really for position of need.

I'm not demanding a trophy, but I had Kaduu in my mock draft posted this week. I thought he stood out in a few of the Oregon games I watched. Speed.

Treasure he also drafted Pat Turner and havent gotten anything out of Gates yet....we traded away, a 1200 yard reciever... I can see why people are a bit concerned we havent addressed the position yet..

PFW had this guy rated as the 10th best LB (higher than Vernon)

Jones gone. Criner gone.

We better get a WR.

I *knew* he was going to go for defense there.

Seriously, what WRs will be available in free agency? Because the bunch on the roster now are not going to hack it.

I have a feel that there is about to be a run on the good WR's that are left.

Ireland is not going pick a WR. He would have done it already.

I anticipate some special teamers and training camp fodder from here on out.

5 picks left before we pick again and McNutt and Streeter are still on the board.

I expect us to look at

Tommy Streeter . -- 6-4.7, 220 -- 4.40 Miami
Julian Talley ..,,,.. -- 6-1, 185 -- 4.50 UMass

for the WR position.
