What are your thoughts on WR position 2012?

Will we draft at least one this weekend? I think so. Though, it goes without saying we have some holes to fill. I like Hartline and Bess, but we still don't have that solid #1. Trading Marshall didn't help matters even though he wasn't my favorite option.

What are you thoughts?

we'll take nick toon, chris givens, and/or marvin mcnutt before it's all said and done. we better, or else this draft was a missed opportunity, deepest WR draft in memory and so far we didn't take 1 with our 4 picks

Wouldnt be surprised we take a slot like Joe Adams, we need a quick Welker like slot, then take a bigger WR later

Marvin Jones
Juron Criner
Greg Childs
Nick Toon
Jeff Fuller

Berk, I agree that we need to utilize this deep WR class and maybe that is what we are doing. In other drafts you wouldn't be able to pick up this kind of talent at WR in the 4th and 5th rounds. We chose to use the depth of this class at WR and stocked up at other positions with less depth early on.

On the WCO, we'll select WRs with the following priorities:

1. Route Running
2. Hands
3. Toughness/Blocking
4. Size
5. Speed

I think Toon, McNutt, Martin, or Jones could be picked in round 4, and start for us in week 1. And then I think we could take a guy to develop in round 5 or later, maybe Streeter, maybe Hemingway.
