b) if the Dolphins Don't Draft Tannehill with their next pick (whatever that pick may be, it may be no. 9 in the second round as is now or it may be that we have picked at no. 8 but ALSO sold our other picks to get a late 1st round pick)
If the Phins don't reach for Tannehill he could drop. I don't believe the Chiefs will use their #1 on a QB, Cleveland at 22 is a possibility, but is he better than McCoy?

Sure, why not? It seems we've been in bed with Dallas ever since the Tuna came here. We might as well swap picks and have all the best players taken just before ours. I could see Ireland doing that.

THIS^^ I said the same over a month ago. If Tanehill is not taken by the browns we are free and clear for 6-7 more spots. I know the Bills looked at him, but they are just mind Fing us. They don't want him , at least not in the first round.

Anything could happen.
Who is the player Dallas is moving up for that they are willing to cough up a 2nd round pick for?

Difference? Tannehill's younger, so he'll hang around longer until teams give up on him.
TRANSLATION: Tannehill will stink for longer in the NFL than Weeden. In fact, we're more likely to get a draft pick, be-it a low-rounder, when we trade him away

You've come precisely to the place I've led you, my lad!
Now take the next step.
That step is to ask yourself if this is true, why are we taking Tannehill at no. 8?

So in other words and like what i meant there is no difference. They are both going to stink. It doesnt matter who stinks longer.
As long as they dont stink with the phins i could care less who stinks longer.

To keep us from SUCKING WORSE AND passing on Melvin INgram or Quentin Coples or Riley Reiff BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHO WANT TO MAKE AN EVEN BIGGER MISTAKE OF GOING FOR TANNEHILL AT 8, when we could have one of those guys and still satisfy YOUR quarterback FRENZY in getting Weeden in the second round or late first.
BTW when i said i wanted that ex thug receiver from denver out of miami...................I was sick of his on field tantrums and the 15 yards penalties when he didnt get his way.....that was the main reason i wanted him out of miami.
Totally agree with you SamSam. There is a big difference between an off the field problem like Randy Moss and a team problem like that guy now in Chicago.

So wasting a 2nd rnd (or late 1st) on a QB you admit will suck is gonna keep us from sucking more? Interesting strategy

Yeah you got me Chyren, you took a prospect at #8 with a 50/50 chance of being something special AND wasted our 2nd rnd pick on someone that you admit will suck........I can hardly sit down.
I don't even need to look up any stats to back my position up, ALL first rnd picks are 50/50 OR LESS to be something special, even Luck and RG3. For you to argue otherwise just makes you look really crazy or stupid........or dare I say both?
This argument isn't about Tannehill turning into Marino, I've never even seen the guy throw a single pass, this is about you saying that whoever else we take @ #8 is a sure fire thing to being "something special" (my words not yours)
Yeah, I have no idea what you mean by "something special" as YOU point out (my words not yours).
If you mean that I am expecting these Defensive linemen to go down in history like Mean Joe Green or that Riley Reiff will become a Hall of Fame O lineman, no, I'm not saying that. If you are saying I am thinking that they will be that kind of "something special" no.
But I'll tell you just what I'd be willing to bet. I'd be willing to bet that they would be starters for us and will hold down those positions and upgrade either defensive or offensive line immediately.
Now, as for Tannehill, right now this is the situation.
While most experts are willing to bet that Luck AND RGIII will both become starters and have bright futures in the NFL.
The question is whether Tannehill will or will not BE A BUST.
That's the question about him.
With those other two guys, the question is will they become Elway or Marino or will they just be Peyton Mannings.
With Tannehill the question is whether the guy will even make in the NFL at Quarterback or whether he will have to END UP MOVING BACK TO WIDE RECEIVER.
With those kind of dynamics, it's just SILLY to draft Tannehill at 8.
