I'd trade up for him IF we HAD to...maybe not all of the way to 3 but certainly up to 7 or 6 again though, that's assuming we HAD to in order to get him. It would ultimately depend on the cost of the trade however.
Washington IMHO, gave up entirely too much to move up to #2. I would not have made that deal.
I'm putting you on the list, Ken. The question is could you see yourself trading up. All the talk was of 3 or 4 and very little was of 7. To trade up to seven, you have to trade WITH seven. But since I guess that sillier to me than even trading up to 3 or 4, I'm putting you on the list. When you trade up one spot from 8 to 7, you can only justify it if that team is going to steal your pick.
The fact that some other team lower than you might trade with them, means 2 things. One that the prime player no. 7 would have picked falls to you and .........more importantly,
you have just gotten rid of a COMPETITOR for drafting Weeden.
Choice B. If you want the phins to trade up to number 3 and draft tannehill....and at the same time continue your morphine, crack and pot addiction , CLICK HERE.

That's exactly the way I see it as well.
Well said A&O.
And as far as luck goes, I think he's a more athletic Eli Manning.
I'd love to have him but I don't look at him the same way I do RG3 who I believe is going to be better.
I think it's more likely we'll be able to trade down to get him. But, if Ireland is 100% convinced (and I don't know how he could be) that Tannehill will be a franchise QB then do what it takes to get him. I'm fine with him at 8. I'd be ecstatic if we got him in a trade down. If we had to trade up, then Ireland is putting his whole career on that move. It's one thing to take a QB with your high 1st rounder and another to move up further for him.
I'm with the RGIII folks, actually. On the earlier poll, I was (1) Manning, (2) RGIII, (3) Tannehill (4) Flynn. (I think those were the choices).

Why not, we done every stupid move possible this tear...passed on fisher as hc, passed and didn't even try for manning, traded Marshall for a 3rd rounder, cut Merlin, Taylor retires but we keep a sorry GM, so why not give up 3 #1s to move up for a bust that would make sense with the current management
