Pretty poor mock draft if they don't list the whole deal.
I agree, Truth, to drop back to 22 Cleveland would have to give us their #1 pick next year, along with whatever else they gave up this year. I highly doubt Miami would drop that far and not get something worthwhile for it.
The only problem I see with next year's #1 is that Cleveland would probably be a pretty good team, and that pick would probably be in the middle of the pack, so it wouldn't be a top 10 pick.
however if we got CLE's 2d and 3d this year and 2d next year, in additional to the #22, I would consider it. We'd get Weedon and then this year also have 2 top 10 2ds and 3 top 10 3ds to spend on WR, TE, OL, and D---best player available. And two 2ds and 3ds next year. I would seriously consider that.

I'm getting the feeling the Dolphins, Philbin are OK with Matt Moore behind Center. I'm OK with that actually. But if they feel tannehill is worth less then #8 and we have needs that can be addressed further down in the draft, then they just might Trade down. This draft is deep with wide outs, we could clean up with the extra picks . I'm telling ya. Moore was really coming on Jan 1st of this year when playing the Jets.

I think Cleveland is going to suck next year. Tannehill won't be ready and Mccoy isn't an NFL franchise QB.
Their 1st round pick will probably be a top 5 in 2013.

That sounds like a lot in favor of Miami. I'd take it for sure but I doubt that would be in play.
BNF, I think that deal makes sense for both teams. CLE gets two top 10 picks out of this years draft, and loses only a #2 next year in addition to the 2 and 3 this year. I think they have some extra picks still from the ATL deal last year. I wonder what the "chart" says about this deal.

I can't go there TCPF. Moore is a caretaker QB. Can we win enough in any given season if everything goes right to make the playoffs? win 10 or 11 games with the right talent around him?
Sure.
But if you want to be serious contenders for then next 5-10 years we need a franchise QB who is a difference maker. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see that in Matt Moore.
I have no problems trading down, this is a deep draft where we have needs, but part of that trade down has to be to position ourselves to make a run at next years top QB's.
I hate Tannehill and love Weeden but I would be mad also at this deal.
I think we can make a top 8 pick that doesn't involve Tannehill and still get Weeden by dealing our high pick in the second round PLUS our number 3s we got in the Marshall deal for New England's first pick in the First round.
That way, we'd have Weeden and the Number 8 pick overall.
Secondly, this scenario has Tannehill available at number 8.
If our leadership does such a deal, it would ONLY be because they have no faith, regard, whatever word you want to use, in Tannehill.
But even if they didn't have any regard for him, it would be about the dumbest thing for our front office to do.......which is precisely why I'm afraid that it's going to happen. Sounds like a deal the Truth would make.
It sounds like whoever did this draft is a Cleveland Brownsfan living in lalala land... The Browns get 4 and 8, and get Richardson at 8. nonsense to me... SO they reach for a QB and then trade back into the top ten for a RB... Holmgren? Not a chance IMO
