He could be a all pro if he consider it. You don't find a more dedicated person. Runs some wildcat now and then. Could even be a running back like gerhart

That's what I'm talking about.

the guy is a winner and doesn't have to line up behind center to impact a game.

If we are bringing in Tannehill, then the last person you need on your roster is Tebow and his circus that follows.

Obviously, the clowns have arrived on this board.

You seemed so obsessed with this Circus you keep talking about. Its called "EXCITEMENT". That happens when you have a winning team. What are you so afraid of?

We are going to run the WCO (just a hunch by the fact they hired Philbin/Sherman), the version of the WCO we're gonna run is the "West Coast Offense".......the only version of the WCO Tebow can run is the "Wild Cat Offense", you OK with that?

If we had an elite QB already I'd have no problem with acquiring tebow as a TE.

The problem is that we don't. And as soon a Moore throws a 4th quarter INT to lose a game, the Tebow fans will be screaming for him to play QB.

The fact that a guy with a 45% completion rate is the WORST possible choice to run the west coast offense won't matter to them. This place will be utter chaos and a circus of epic proportions from the get go.

Thanks, but no thanks. Not on THIS team.

I agree Tebow doesn't fit with the personnel or our supposed scheme. BUT tightwad ROSS is probably chomping at the bit. Just think about it, he gets star QB power in press coverage and ticket, merch sales while paying cast-off QB money.

Thanks. smileys with beer

I didnt have the time to explain it to Realist and TCPF, if those guys can't see what a 45% passer brings to a team, then they never will.

BTW, he will never be anything other than a QB in this league. Who he is, the hype, the circus, the media, his fans, will never allow him to move to a different position.

IF we could get Tebow for a 5th round pick, make him a Jim Jenson type (I think he'd be very good at that) and avoid all this Tebowmania "starting QB" crap I would be in favor of it. But you can't have one without the other and it's not worth it at all.

Honestly, the only place the H Back thing is even a possiblity is somewhere like NE or GB where there is no question he is not going to be the QB, so all the Tebowheads will be clamorring to get him on the field in some capacity even if not at QB. Woudln't shock me if he goes to NE to reunite with McDaniels and UF-sniffer Bellicheat, and it it works out wonderfully for them.

Tebow and the wildkat works because they do not know its coming....Tebow will not last a day as a RB.

Tebow = Jim Jensen. In THAT role he could be really good. It's too bad he'll ruin his career by insisting he play QB. Denver could do very well by keeping him and putting him on the field WITH Manning.

Jets will use him in that capacity and wildcatin

You don't read very thoroughly.

What does a 45% completion have to do with playing H-back?

Throughout the discussions I have said that he would offer a variety of options and would provide depth.

The Truth has a very valid point in that if he was playing H-back or Wildcat...AND Moore struggled people would be clamoring.

But that wasn't your point.

in the end...the Jets will have that issue and not us.

But we shall see how horrible he is.

Hey Realist,

I totally understand what you are saying. I do. We will see. If used like you said, I as well, think Tim could succeed in the league.

But Tim will never, ever succeed as a passer. EVER.

Everyone assumes he'd do well at H back or TE, but that's no sure thing, its actually kinda a wild assumption to make.

Jensen actually had a much better arm.

I still think JC had the right idea for Timmy as a 2 point specialist.

Exactly. I am glad someone pointed this out.

What evidence is there he can play either of these positions?
