Date: March 20, 2012 10:32AM Wow. I have NEVER SEEN a jersey retired and then un-retired.
The Broncos no. 18 has been retired for Frank Tripucka, one of their early QBs. Manning has said that Tripucka called him and insisted that his number be "un-retired" so that Peyton could wear it. Even if this were true, the classy thing for Peyton to have done is to refuse such an offer. I think he will get more bad publicity from this regardless of what the truth actually is.
