There's a report on the newswire (a real report, from a newspaper blog) that Flynn is "talking terms" with the Phin, which could mean he's about to sign. I mean he's been there all day, maybe they're finally, as Mandich used to say, "done fondling the boobies and are ready to consummate this marriage."
It looks like his signing is very close. They wouldn't put his visit on the official Dolphins website if it wasn't a significant attempt to sign him right now.
On a side note, we could have drafted Flynn 4 years ago...but, we selected Lex Hillard instead. Just sayin.

It could also mean Miami is offering $6M a year, and he's asking for $8M or else he gets back on a plane Seattle.
I think he will sign with us, for less money than anyone thought. Or the deal will only some money guaranteed upfront, and he will have much larger non-guaranteed salaries 2-3 years down the road if he is the real deal.
But, just talking terms is a little premature to say he is signed.
If the Dolphins let Flynn out of their grips, that would mean that Matt Moore is more valued by this org than many have thought.
A fist full of dollars....
If Miami can't sign Flynn because of lack of money, that means that this team is stacked and better show up to play without him.
For a few dollars more....
I'm glad that Manning didn't want to come here. Goes to show that even though he's a future HOF'er with a ring, he lacks the guts & grit of Dan Marino who's never had a ring. I wouldn't trade Dan for Peyton. Ever.
Neither would I...both guy's in thier prime, Marino was better. In todays league on the Pats, Saints, Rams (G. S. on T. team) or Colts pre 2011 Marino would have re-written the record books even more than he did with us.

The decision to not overpay for Flynn has zero to do with Moore IMO. I think they view Flynn and Tannehill as equals in this system, and if Flynns asking price don't come down (or they don't sign A Smith now), they'll just draft Tannehill. Either way, M Moore is not thought of as our QB of the future.

I was waiting to hear
"The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly......"
Hmmmm, Ireland is running out of options to impress the boss with a QB upgrade. Maybe what they were talking about was enrolling Moore in one of those reality TV shows where the gay guys take him shopping and help him re-decorate his apartment.
