Absolute PROOF POSITIVE our collective team karma has IMPOROVED exponentially if not a lot under the guru guidance of football Yogi Philbin.

I think we could win the SuperBowl by June.

BNF. And considering the inflationary model.

Haven't you learned anything from our previous drafts. We'll take a RT that's rated as a 3rd rounder!!

That would be great. WTF........Maybe the player they were calling to draft was talking to somebody else and didnt had a two way line.

The difference between 8 and 9 matters. Not only if the competing team wants the same player or position as you (which would cause them to snatch that player or position right ahead of you), but also the fact that someone who wants what you want at position 9, feels the necessity to make a deal with number 8 to snatch that person or position right from under your nose at number 8.

It is a big deal.

What does everyone think about taking Moriss Claiborne if he drops to us at #8? We got absolutey torched this season in the secondary especially those first few games when we had no problem scoring a lot of points, more than enough to win a typical ball game, but ended up giving up even more points on defense, with a lot of really lousy secondary play to blame for most of that. Claiborne is an absolute stud, and I can't help but think that having a Davis/Claiborne CB tandem would help us immensely.

I see your logic but I would say that with Jake Long's injury and the poor shape of the rest of our off. line that the second priority after QB would be O line.

I guess it would depend on what we've gotten done in free agency.

He's a great player. He'll help whatever team he goes to.

CB isn't as big a need for us as other positions like QB, OL, or pass rusher (DE/OLcool smiley.

If we haven't addressed those issues in free agency then I think drafting a CB is a luxury we can't afford.

"has IMPOROVED exponentially if not a lot"
I got a chuckle from this statement. I think you ought to find out what the statement actually means.

However, I certainly hope you're right with the sentiment.
