Just for the record he is listed as 6'2 220 pounds and is 21 years of age.

I'm a fan. If we could get RG3 at just about any price I would do it.

I think he's going to be a HUGE star in the NFL.

The problem is that the draft and any trade we might make to move up for him won't happen until well after free agency has started. That's why kinking the tires on Manning has to be our first option.

But I won't be upset at all if we missed out on Manning and Flynn and had to go get Griffin.

Manning is short term. Griffin will be here for the next 12 or so years.

We need to take a chance for once man and i think this is the perfect time.

Im tired and im sure every other phin fanatic who followed this team for the last 15 years like me is also at the end of their ropes just like me.

And Flynn?

I hope we take our chances for fresh meat out of college with huge potential as opposed to someone whos been in the league already and hasnt gotten a chance to start on any team yet.

Yeah he is started a game or 2 because of injuries. So.

To me me flynn is another Matt Moore. And i do not think highly in any reguards about Matt Moore. He is just a journeyman. And so is Flynn!

Almost every team that has won superbowls in the last 15 years or more has won it with franchise QBs.

Indy, Pittburgh, New England, The giants, Green Bay...ETC

There has been the exception a couple of times but the odds are that a team with a franchise QB will win a superbowl one day or a few of them.

I am not touching your fools gold give me Manning or Flynn because their no way I am trading up to draft a project period.

EDIT2....To me luck is a project as well since he hasn't played a down in the NFL....IMO every Drafted player is a project.

The price is just too high to move up to the #2. It's ludicrous to imagine that a 6 - 10 team is just a QB away.
Once again we are starting from scratch with a brand new set of coaches. If we are switching to a west coast style offense and switching philosophies on defense then we are going to have needs that have to be addressed in the draft. We don't have the cap space to take care of everything in free agency.

Indi record without manning and indi record with manning from years before to this year...they were Just a QB away from reaching the playoffs this year as well. and they went 2 and 14 or something without him instead. Again just a QB away.

The only way we're getting RG3 is if the Browns sign Flynn or Manning, then we can compete in the trade up game. Ideally the Skins sign Manning and the Browns sign Flynn, and i'd feel good about moving up for Griffin. Thats why we're gonna kick the tires on Flynn and Manning in March.

Once again, we'll just have to wait and see which direction the NEW coaching staff will decide to go and what our needs will be. Until we hear from them we are just dreaming.
