Not only was that catch extraordinary on its own, but it also involved him catching the ball with one hand pressing the football against his helmet.
Here's the most extraordinary part: that play involved an official's review, on a crucial play, that DID NOT GET DECIDED IN FAVOR OF THE PATRIOTS. That's the main reason I'll never forget it.
Wow....that he would be that concerned with somebody else's business. If he ain't gay himself, what difference does it make to him? I mean, are they competition for him in the love market?

Yeah I heard him say that a few weeks ago on a local talk show up here. Seems to be a pet peeve of his.
He comes across as a very socially conservative 'holly roller'...not that there's anything wrong with that.
He's certainly entitled to his on view on the issue but he really should stick to talking about football.
People are entitled to their opinions. I agree with Tyree as I don't like or agree with say sex marriage. I don't want to sound bigoted, but everyone always sees every issue differently. Just because we don't all agree does not make us racist right Aqua? However opinions like that tear this country apart by the constant bickering from one side against the other. It's all very trivial I believe.

hahahaha that's great I never thought about it like that. But you're right that's literally the most shocking aspect of that play. Years of watching the Patriots get every call, get every edge, and watching the ball always bounce in their favor with the refs will do that to a man.
In all seriousness, and this is somewhat sad, that it isn't a Dolphins play, but that was the single greatest play I ever witnessed. I've never celebrated a football play as much as I did that catch. At that moment I almost had more invested in and cared more about watching the Patriots lose (in the greatest most momentous fashion imaginable, losing the biggest game of the century 1 short of being perfect and perhaps being regarded as the best team of all time) than I did in the Dolphins winning. Almost.
God I hope the Giants win tonight! I really wanna see Belichick's face after he loses, as he, in a moment of utter classlessness, walks onto the field with 46 seconds left on the clock to give Coughlin that begrudging cold fish "handshake" like he did in 07.

Say sex marriage definitely is a dangerous scourge in this country that threatens to tear the very fabric of this great nation apart. Same sex marriage on the other hand is a completely inocuous concept that has absolutely no baring on anybody's life outside the private relationship of the two people involved.

Perfectly said. It's very trivial.

"Say" sex marriage. Is that where you don't have sex but just "say 'sex'"? Men and women or men and men and women and women just look at each other and yell "Sex!!" I could see how that could lead to the end of the species by the failure to produce children.

Absoultely!
But all opinions are not created equal. Or we'd still have slavery in this country and women wouldn't be able to vote.

I don't know if I'd call it bigoted so much as discriminatory.
Fortunately for us the bottom line on this stuff is the US Constitution and not religious texts.
Sure there are some who agree with you that do so out of hatred of gays, but most feel that way because that is how their religion indoctrinated them.

This will all be settled soon enough.
Many people have a hard time separating their religion form the secular government the Constitution was designed to protect. That's where all the infighting comes from and sadly, many politicians exploit this to further their career.

Only to those who aren't being denied their equal rights.

I agree Finshady, but what you must realize about the liberal progressive left, they believe, they are more enlightened then everyone else. A sense of being a more sophisticated being so to speak. And those who dont believe what they believe are just less evolved humans... Pathetic..Most just call that an elitist ego.... They will save you from your foolishness...lol..
I have no problem with a a same sex couple recieving all of the govt benefits and rights of standard married couple... I just dont believe anyone including the govt, should rewrite the bible, so it fits how they want to view the world and the world view them... Marriage is a commitment of a man and a woman in the eyes of god.. THere is nothing the progressive movement can do to change that fact and the history of marriage....Dont ever be ashamed of your beliefs...The bible and god are pretty clear on the position of homsexuality..
