I do too.......but if Philbin grabs him over Flynn I have to think he has alot more riding on this then you and I AND he knows flynn intimately. Just saying........ I would love to see Manning take us to a Super Bowl but the truth of the matter is that in his short tenure here, he will make us successful but after he leaves, were back to square one. Taking a chance on Flynn has a higher reward. The best we can do with Flynn is have a franchise QB for years to come and compete for a SB this entire decade. The best scenario with manning is that we win once and then its all back to being a joke of a franchise. As much as I hate the comparison, would you rather us resemble idk, the Bucs where they won once and then that was it, or (punches self) the patriots where they have clearly dominated for a long time.
As a fan, yeah I want a SB win. But i still rather take the Flynn risk because a long term contender seems so much more valuable. Re: Peyton Manning Miami's top QB priority.
