No way. He's good. Very good. Just scored his 4th td in this game. He's been here 3 years. He needs some consistency and a qb.
People always wanna give up on things too fast which causes constant turnover and inconsistency. Will never have long term success with that formula.
He's the real deal on offense and should definitely NOT be traded or cut at this point. Any other opinion is honestly self-serving and quite short sighted, in my opinion (ha)!
Exactly. Unfortunately he kinda says that during his interview just a few minutes ago pointing out what GOOD qb's can do for him in putting the ball where he needs it.
Still doesn't explain away his drops all season but still... Hard to argue with 4 td's from pro bowl QBs, although the defense is a lot less pressed during this game.
Either way, he's a beast and is Miami's most valuable offensive weapon. Would be dumb to trade him unless it was straight up for 1st overall pick.
Now I know you guys are dissatisfied with Moore and Henne but you are letting either your hatred for them or your desire for a better quarterback completely OVERRULE YOUR BASIC COMMON SENSE!!!!
Marshall sucks! Everywhere he has gone and SUCKED, he has made some kind of excuse.
Chyren, you need to wake up. Marshall drops passes and no one denies it. Marshall also makes great plays and overall is a huge positive for the team. You need to stop denying this fact. The fact that you think he sucks probably makes this post a waste of my time because you are already so far gone on this issue.
By the way, over the past few seasons Welker has been towards the top of the league in drops. Look it up if you must, but it is true. More targets=more drops. Same for any receiver. Also, look at Jordy Nelson. He was toward the top of the league last year in drops and this year I think he had two all season. It's not an unfixable problem and at this level it is almost entirely mental.
Seriously, get real. We all know he drops passes but so does everyone else. He's third in the NFL in receiving yards and receptions... only behind Gronkowski and Welker who have Tom Brady throwing to them.
You guys take things too personally. So what if he's a dick? His teammates get along with him and he's a GOOD DAMN RECEIVER!!!!
Stop acting like little girls that had your hair pulled. Marshall is a beast and will only play better with a better qb.

If Marshall is how you define "team cancer" then YES, I'd be VERY happy with him. I'd certainly prefer him over Randy Moss or T.O. THOSE guys were cancers.

Wow, dude. Did you watch all the games this season? There were, what, 2 games where we MIGHT have won if he would have caught a TD...and there were several we won BECAUSE of his catches.
So T.O. signing a football in the endzone doesn't constitute an on-the-field cancer? How is dropping the ball equate to being a cancer?
